Yep you're right Arm, they are:
- 2cdd
- 4a7c (a variant one)
- and f01e (the korean boot... even if you used ARC to change it later, it won't work!)

Well i wouldn't call it a Korean boot1, Cause my New USA wii has it Its Brand New Defiantly not Korean , I say all new wiis are going to contain it.
Looks like i'm going to a pawn shop to buy a Old Wii.lol

Well that's not my naming, but TT's...:

QUOTECurrent stats:
187 reports of “normal” (compatible) boot1 (2cdd…), 4 reports of “variant 1? (4a7c…) and 15 reports of what I was calling the “Korean boot1? (f01e…).
The latter will not be compatible with BootMii, and it looks like it’s not just Korean Wiis (or, as noted in the comments below, they could be region-changed Korean Wiis).
Console IDs greater than 100000000 decimal appear to be using the new “Korean” boot1, and the rest are using either the normal one or the variant.

What are you waiting for? Download and run Checker and do your part for BootMii.

Would the user with IP 173.17.17.42, who found this post via this GBATemp thread, running Firefox 3.0.6 under Windows XP, with a brand new Wii, NG ID 0×07235f5d, and boot2 version 4 please contact us? This is the very first time we’ve heard of this version of boot2, and we’d like to see it. Pretty please.
So who's the culprit?

If this messes with BootMii, you can be sure Nintendo is not happy about it's development.

Well I couldn't figure out the color code mind you.

2cdd for both wiis in my house too :~) One is PAL (Australia) launch, the other a ~march08 PAL with D2C drive chip.

I guess it's only the really new ones which will show anything interesting.

For the people worried about TT adding some sort of piracy check, don't be worried. They alread explicitly said that while they don't aim to help piracy they won't add anything to actively hinder it to their applications. The application that did that was made by someone else and TT shut it down anyway.
