Hacking Team Cyclops forums are down again?

They closed them ("for one month") to fix the spambot problem. They apparently decided not to bother and just keep registration closed, because the only action they took was to wait a month and then remove the notice saying when registration would be opened again.

I actually emailed them through their support page asking when/if they would ever open up registration to their forums again. As a response, they white-listed my email addy . . . but I still can't register at their forums. Gee, thanks.

As much as I love my Cyclos (bought it because of the good product support, since the R4 has been abandoned), it bugs the heck out of me that they've closed their forums. It's especially frustrating when someone has posted software/skins/whathaveyou there and you aren't allowed to download because you aren't registered. And the beta forums . . . you can't even go READ there as they are locked unless you are signed in. It's incredibly frustrating

What you mean, you got your email whitelisted but you cant registor? Why so?

I posted a thread at the Team Cyclops forums saying they need to get their asses in gear and open registration. I figure there are even chances that they'll ignore it, open registrations, or ban me. We'll see which option they choose.

THANK YOU for posting that over there. I don't know how they will react, but you got MY feelings across pretty darn well. It IS frustrating to be completely excluded from their forums. Especially when I first got the card and wasn't really sure how to set it up!

Oh. cause i always thought it was just hotmail accounts that were banned then i tryed to "sign up" and it turns out you cant even get to the regestration form.

What they should do is open registration for a week so anyone can sign up, then close it again. Then in the future, they need to include codes with Cyclos so that only people who actually bought Cyclos can sign up.

If they are not letting their customers get support then it's something that people need to know about before they decide on this flash card. Closing forum registrations is something Team DS-X worthy.

Isn't that why we have our own little community here?

I for one don't venture much on their forums. Only when someone posts a link to their pages
to read off something worth while. Many of the users over there make me /wrist in anger...
