the shop channel and the dlc hacks worked for me did you update your shop ios to the latest if not search google for pimp my wii.
I haven't updated either. I am still on shop channel v19 and using cIOScorp 3.6 version of IOS56. So you used the DarkCorp 1.1 IOS56 and the guitar hero 5 dlc hack still works?

yes it still works.
Wait, I have a question. Is the IOS56 in the Full version zip package of DarkCorp 1.1 already modded or does the installer mod it on the fly? I only want to install the IOS56 and not the other IOS in the package so I can't run the installer but just want to use a wad manager to install it.
So after some testing, I realized that the IOS56 in the DarkCorp 1.1 full package is just the normal IOS56 with no patches. How can I get a hold of the wad for the IOS56 DarkCorp 1.1 version after it has been patched?

go to google and search PIMP MY WII that's all there is to it.

Didn't see someone mention this , so i'm doing it now :

http://forum.wii-homebrew.com/board4-wii-h...rer-1-14-by-r2/

This is a mod of TBR 1.13 , called TBR 1.14 , that can use HW_AHBPROT.
Run TBR (with no ios reload at first question) , and choose directly the "IOS36 menu".
No need to install ios41 , no need to downgrade ios15.
Works like a charm.

Of course you need at least HBC 1.0.7 , using IOS58.

Its better to run the IOS236 Installer, because then the patched IOS will be installed in an unused slot (I know TBR can do this, but most leave it to install to IOS36, which is bad because it means an official IOS is overwritten)

thats why they use IOS236 installer MOD

It won't work if all Korean IOSes (41,43,45,46,48,52) are the latest version and IOS15 is v1032.

Yes it will. That's the whole point.

Nah i bet a lot of people here can't use the IOS236 installer 'cause they're pirates.

Is it not just a simple question asking if you pirate or not, with no real check in place?

Having some issues getting the latest shop channel installer. Tried using DOP-MII WiiBrew addition and it gives error -125 and also tried MMS and it errors also tring to get it from net.

Any ideas?

I just have a quick question. Its more of a general sense and doesn't have anything to do with a particular problem but will just provide me with more general knowledge.

Why do Korean IOS's have an effect on whether TBR works? Did TBR rely on something related to it or something? If so how?

Nintendo forgot to include korean IOSs in U/J/E updates. So you could install an old korean IOS and use TBR with it.
Since they now includet the koean IOSs in the updates that's not possible anymore.
But luckily we now have the AHBPROT feature.

But wouldn't you just be able to downgrade the IOS back to when it had the bug? What about presence the Korean IOS's is stopping TBR?

No he doesn't. Korean IOSs never had trucha. They did however have es_titlefinish not checking for signatures, which enabled us to downgrade IOSs. But that was patched out of them the same time it was patched out in U/E/J IOSs.
It's just that we could install old korean IOSs that still had that oversight until recently.
