Hacking System Transfer with 2.0b2

(sorry about making two threads about related topics but)

Can anyone test System Transfer with 2.0b2? I'm able to get to this screen on emuNAND (http://d.pr/i/ItyT), but don't want to update my 5.1 3DS to 7.1 if I don't have to.

I realize this. I'm willing to update my 5.1 to 7.1 IF system transfer works in GW 2.0b2

System transfers involving restarting the target 3DS. If system transfers worked now, it would be because of a special mod by the Gateway team, and they would have announced it. I haven't tried it myself but I would say there's a 99% chance they still don't work.

Heres an idea now.

Backup your SD card (using an Imager to backup everything)

System transfer back, Now restore the SD card image. Now everything is on both 3ds consoles.

I don't imagine it would because of the whole ticket thing.

You wouldn't need to. You would backup the sending 3DS's emuNAND, do a system transfer, and then restore the emuNAND on the old 3DS. I bet Nintendo would try to remove stuff when you connected to the internet, similarly to how they remove channels when you do a similar thing from Wii to Wii U.

well what i was thinking was, you system transfer it back, it moves all tickets over and they are invalidated on this nand right?

Now you use your backed up emunand from your PC (before transfering it back), now you have an emunand with all the titles still activated and everything still installed.

Iunno its just an idea.

The tickets will be deleted after entering to the eShop :/ and waiting 7 days is a pain if you are trying to borrow the games of a friend's 3DS.

I can confirm this. System stays in emuNAND when opening system transfer and I managed to system transfer sucessfully.

Wow gonna try this out right now. And to think I bought a soldering iron to do this the manual way.

Looks like you can do some pretty evil stuff now, and that's all thanks to Nintendo not wanting to bring a proper account system:

-System transfer from original 3DS to emunand
-backup emunand.bin +sdcard on your computer
-System transfer from emunand back to the original 3DS (need to wait 7 days)
-Restore the emunand.bin + sdcard
-both systems now have the games.

Sure, only the final system getting the transfer can redownload from the eshop, but still, imagine sharing all your eshop games with your family/friends, that's a Nintendo nightmare coming true... "Please understand".
