The reason you CIOS38 is more than likely smaller is because i exactly patched the IOS37-IOS5? twice once to fix the Trucha Bug and again to inject the Dip7

Ok tried it with IOS30. My is still smaller.

What do i wrong?

I inject the 00000001.app [66,8 KB (68.404 Bytes)] from the Cios into the IOS. Thats it.

Dont really know what i am doing wrong =(

Why dont you play around with a different IOS like IOS21 or something, If you dont do IOS30 right you'll brick

Yeah i think i give up... i dont get it.

Always smaller.

Too bad. I really would like do that on my own =(.

Edit: I noticed something really random.

All my cIOS files are always (!!!) 0.4 MB smaller than yours.
?

Edit2:

It gets more and more random.

I extracted the cIOS28 from your packkage.

The direction is [1,60 MB (1.680.188 Bytes)]big.

Then i extracted the IOS28 and insert the 00000001.app.

The direction is also [1,60 MB (1.680.188 Bytes)]big!!!!!

Now i use wadpacker to pack the original cIOS again.
The wad is 1,60 MB (1.680.704 Bytes) big.

Then i packed my cIOS28.
The wad is [1,56 MB (1.645.952 Bytes)]big?! O_o

All files are same big! I dont really know the problem. I shoud use another wadpacker.
Maybe this is the problem.

But how do you remove the Trucha Fix? I really would like to know that.

And can someone give me a link to another Wad Packer? I think there was one by Raven or so?
Maybe it works then hopefully.

if we extract the boot.bin or the main.dol, is there anyway to edit it to not want jap language
or am i way off target here

With WiiFrii if I'm not wrong but because the game is in Japanese the game will still be like that.

I was thinking that myself... I was hoping we could either come up with modified RegionFrii type app that will change the need for the game to run in JAP language or somehow forcing the console like geckos does..I don't know... I am growing weary and am really starting to feel a bit greedy... I have just about all 150+ games running through my disc channel....why can't a white boy be happy with that?!
blink.gif

Though... I will jump my Wii through a thousand rings of fire and over 100 bricked Wii's to get load the JAPs in my Amercian wii via Nintendo disc channel...

Ha i got the right size with Foxs wad packer!!!!

ZOMG Finally yes =).

Well finally i just want to know how you remove the Trucha Fix?

I think the option in TP Foxs wad packer doesnt work with IOS files or am i wrong?

I am talking about this Option:

Options: -sign Trucha sign Ticket and TMD

Edit: Okay he did it but i am not sure about that.

Anyway it works!!

I have to try that out.

Can i test it so?:

I install my CIOS55 and use the IOSPATCHER to change the IOS from a game to IOS55.

If the game load, i have Trucha sign it right.

If it doesnt work, Trucha Bug doesnt work with IOS55.

Correct?

Do you guys think it'd be possible to edit the home button menu??

To like create buttons that redirect you to HBC instead of the system menu??

I don't know how you would go about modifying the Home button on the Wiimote, but I believe the Home button in the Home menu is controlled somehow with TPLs, etc. in the decrypted files.

not sure if this helps but just for kicks i forced a pal game (cod5) and a ntsc game (paper mario) with the lang set to jap, well they both booted fine, but the interesting thing is my home region game (pal cod) booted with the jap wrist strap and wiizapper screen but the ntsc booted english, could this point to the fact that the issue is with the warning screen and can that be edited on the iso?

EDIT
and if all games work forced to jap lanuage can we (as in someone other than me, cuz i havnt a clue how to) write a hack for preloader to force jap lang all the time?????????

Someone needs to make an official FAQ for this stuff. In all the topics where people ask for one the responses are always "blah blah blah read the gigantic thread blah blah blah unofficial guides will brick people blah blah." From what I understand it's pretty stable at this point and without much risk for bricking.

in which page of this threat is the instalation guide and the CIOSCORP package??
plz tell me

there ain't no guide for this, but I'm only going to say: install cIOS 30 at the very end..!!
wink.gif
Then how do you pretend that others do this?
at least put a video on youtube

there isnt a guide because of future brisk risk, and because altering the system menu ios can cause a complete brick if anything goes wrong. There were two different guides made which were pulled because of the danger and because we had our only brick reports within 30 mins of each going up. If you want the files and read the thread, you would see all you have to do is look in the hacking faq for a link to the ios's needed, or request them in the thread and someone would send them to you. There is a installer being worked on now, once its been given a good testing and the region issues are cleared up a public descriptive faq/guide will appear. i know of two of three people who have them ready to go and are just waiting for the last goal to be finished and added in before releasing. This is why we keep telling everyone if you want to do this read the thread, if you want to do it before an installer is ready everyone wants to make sure you KNOW what you are doing and risking.

Yeah, I already mentioned all those details in the middle of the blahs. Glad to hear there's a guide in the works, since flipping through all these pages gets tedious pretty quick.

EDIT: Thanks for the PMs guys. Glad I'm hopping on the bandwagon now because it seems far easier now than it looked when I first saw this thread. Good stuff.
