the same goes for ios30 on 3.2 right, that seems to be ok

3.4 runs runs on Bug fix IOS's totally different setup, you would need to dump the new IOS50
and patch it manually or i guess you could use Multi CIOS installer and create a CIOS50 but i dont think you can use the program on 3.4, you would need to make it and dump before you update to 3.4, and then after you update then install it, Your on your own

Hey IronMask,

Thanks for that FTPii link. I'm getting steady 560K/sec dumping the nand thru wireless. 16 minutes to dump 500M nand file ain't bad. Love having access to the Wii's Internal File System too.

You guys should try out this new FTPii IronMask found. Might be a little dangerous for some though. I think he posted the link earlier in the thread.
I looked and I lost it so I can't repost the link. Just thought I'd let you all know how much I like the App.

does it dump the nand file in IMG format or FILE format I havn't been keeping up
it's .img file
it's in the NAND Folder, ecc and non_ecc versions
then there is the ISFS files sytem that you can just browse into like any file system. Haven't played with that though. Just looked through it.

I just connect with total commander and have my pc files system on one side, and the Wii on the other.

Multi CIOS installer runs on 3.4, will it patch ios50 properly, also what cios to use, cios36?

I don't think anybody has tried it yet. I would only try if I was under warranty. Nodody knows yet if 3.4 will run under lower IOS numbers or not. If I were to try it myself, i would probably use ios36r7. But I'm not on 3.4 and don't feel like being a Guinea Pig today.

What is the status of Preloader and 3.4. Does it work or does preloader only work with 3.2?

****** NOTE: VERY HIGH BRICK RISK FOR THE FIRST TO ATTEMPT THIS IF THERE'S ANY TAKERS ******

I think best attempted on a brand new wii so it could be returned and exchanged easily. Anybody got a spare new Wii laying around?

I've already warned him twice, I'm not sure what the results are going to be, Myself i dont think it will work, But i hope it does, and he doesn't Brick

im going to run multi ciso installer on 3.4 when the old lady goes to sleep, this way i can rip to wal-mart and get a new one if it dont work

does it auto detect ios50 and patch it?

I just followed the CIOSCORP tutorial/guide that was posted a few pages back, it worked great.

Just Installed IOS33, all of the other ones except for IOS30, then IOS30 last onto a 3.2 starfall console with cIOS249 rev7 installed. Works like a charm.
Thanks for your great work, guys! I had been following this thread for a while and great it had such a great outcome.

EDIT: Forgot to ask, will Trucha Disks still work?

you should have the ios36 files on your SD in the /00000001/00000024/ folder. I'd be happy to zip the folder up for you if you'd like me to.
but I think it can be done totally over the internet also. I've always had the ios36 and 37 folders on my SD so I'm not sure. Somebody else tell us if the IOS36 files are necessary on the SD to do this or not. Either way, I'd still be happy to zip up both the IOS36 and IOS37 core files for testing for you.

OK first of all, do you have IOS16 or IOS249 installed...?? if yes then continue, if not, then please at least install IOS16 with Wad Manager 1.3, otherwise MCI will not work....ok???

i do have cios16 installed, it plays my backups still and hbc works fine

also the 3.4 system menu .wad might be handy
Now in multi cios the option should be "install custom IOS36 with IOS36 rev-7 dip as IOS249" or CHANGE IOS249 to IOS50
