Hacking System menu 4.0 WADS

Hi guys,
I saw a WAD file of system menu 4.0 V417 (US NTSC) around the internet. How did they got that file knowing that no game with such menu is released yet.
I dont want the link I want to know just the how.

That system menu has been out since March 25th. It's Nintendo's latest update.

Probably used NAND Filesystem Dumper and then packed it with wadpacker. Dunno, if there is a game out with the v4.0 update on — where it could have been ripped of.

They had to have used a NAND dumper and then packed a WAD with a WAD packer.

Does anyone know if it's safe to update your Wii with wads?

Example:
Use wad manager to install patched IOS 60, IOS 61, and System Menu 4 wads

Might be useful for those who don't have wifi

and the version for 4.0 pal is v418

Look at here:

Title ID for system menu is 0000000100000002

For IOS, it's always 00000001000000xx (xx is the hex value of IOS number)

Can we download individual IOSs through this? I was able to downlaod system menus but dont know about IOS Wads.

I tried to download IOS60 by the TitleID from Wiibrew, it doesn´t worked for me. Knows someone a solution?
