Clean up? There is nothing to clean. You cant "clean up" a wii. If the IOS's run, then it is clean.

sorry if this is a really stupid question, but what is the advantage over waninkoko's installer?

Waninkoko's installer has bricked 3 people, is horribly designed, and installs in the wrong way (using older IOS's instead of patching newer ones). It also doesn't update the shop (IIRC), doesn't install the other new IOS's, and doesn't check that IOS60 is working before installing a sysmenu that runs off of it.

I updated with Waninkoko's updater. Would it be better if I run yours now when I already have 4.0 installed? Will I get the "proper" IOS'es by running this updater?

I'm on modchip btw.

going to test now got my 20 cigerettes and bottle of whiskey incase of brick lol ill be back in about 15 mins

Just tried it and it got stuck on on downloading ios 60 at file 15 then nowt else happened for at least 5 mins

Are trucha signed discs going to work with this? I like to have a fallback should I install corrupt chanels and with no preloader at the moment the only fallback would be a trucha signed autoboot disc with wadmanager...
Besides launching trucha signed discs form the disc channel si jsut a convinience I would rather not give up.

Yeah but afaik that doesn't mean that truchad discs run. At least it didn't work the one time I tried it. Though I might have done something wrong...

Trucha'd disks would run, but this removes cioscorp, so it will only work on modchips.

Edit: updated it, now it does EVERY IOS version.

Again, I might be wrong, but I've heard you need the Systemmenu of 3.2, so you're must be on 3.2X...I've heard that 4.0 has a Patch against this bug in it...but well, 96% Chance that I'm wrong...
