HI,
was tryin to run some DPG on my M3 real runnin on Sakura 1.12 english but was unsuccessful.
only two DPG file other than that the rest all runnin fine......
the error msg is -System halt
Please refer [/SYSTEM/m3sakura/logbuf.txt

SO what needed to be done to fix it??

just to start, DO WHAT THE ERROR TELLS YOU TO!
right after you get the error, turn off your DS, pull out your microSD, and open logbuff.txt in notepad.

I guess I'm not very good at finding the problem because the only problem I see in the log is the "!" at the end of it. Personally, "!" is uninformative, so I'll try to solve the problem by a few educated guesses.

1) You coded the DPG file in settings that would have made the playing extremely unstable. Check your encoding settings.

2) Your file is corrupt and needs to be recopied or, in the worst case, re-encoded. With dpgenc, there is a dpg movie player called dpgshow. It's in the same directory. Test the file with that exe.

i use the dpgshow as advice and it runnin fine so i don't think it the solution 2 problem...
Is it that i need some patch in order to run it??

Try running it with moonshell it should be located in the apps section of the Sakura firmware. If moonshell can't play it. Then there's probably an error during encoding. Try converting the video file again with the converter your using or another.
