Just updated my 3.4u wii to 4.0u and then to 4.1u with preloader .29 and bootmii as an ios installed and everything works like it should except for the new sd card menu at the bottom left corner. Once the system starts readind the card contents, it freezes and I have to power down by holding the power button. I did everything following zyxzero's guide (awesome guide btw) and that's the only problem I got. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What exactly are you trying to do?

If the boot.dol/elf is still in the root of the SD card when you try to view the card contents from the SD menu I believe it cause your Wii to freeze (it does mine anyway).

I normally go in via the Wii menu, channels, then select the SD tab.

Whoops, nevermind, already answered!

Deleting the private folder on the sd card did the trick. This was my very first time posting in a forum. I just want to thank you all for your fast replies, very much appreciated.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.

Free release can have loopholes where they still make money through ads
