Hacking System file is missing?

My new Acekard 2i works fine with my DS Phat but it gives me error on my DSI XL. So I figure that I have to upgrade the firmware of the Acekard to 1.41 to work with my DSI XL.
So I have download the update files, put them on my microsd card and when I select the Acekard on my DS Phat it says < System file is missing>.

What I am doing wrong?

you have to start the updatefile from within akaio (just like a game).

That the guide I have used.
I have bought 3 Acekards for me and my friends and I have the same problem on all.
The card I have bought is this

I thought that it was 1.41 ready.
