Homebrew sysNAND and emuNAND question

Well it is on the new firmware and it will act like on the new firmware. The way it works though is I think it keeps an older version of a Firm file to keep access to all your hacks? Not sure though!
That is exactly what it does, it installs a corrupted FIRM (ver 2.1) that allows us to run our own code. It's technically still Nintendo's code booting, but since we corrupted it, it now gets tricked into loading what we want.
