Sorry that I have been gone for awhile, but for some reason the Wii doesn't like USB thumb drives. Some of them work perfectly, others can only read or write, and sometimes they just don't work at all. With my testing, it appears that the smaller the drive, the higher chance of working. So, to end off this wall of text, how big is your USB flash drive?

Lol I read the thread where he made that post lol.....the thing is I unfortunately don't have an external harddrive

It's strange the homebrew channel picks up the apps on the usb but xplorer don't.....oh boy well I guess it can't be helped.Such a pity.

But thanks anyway I'm very grateful for everything.

I have a 32gb usb @FEF1

What version of WiiXplorer did you get ? R259 ? When you open it on Homebrew Channel look at the upcoming Screen. before load it.
You can try WiiXplorer-SS (R260) instead.:)

By the way how is your USB formatted ?

In my testings, I found that most 32gb drives aren't detected by WiiXplorer. And on that site, the OrangeChicken ones are all SNES injects, meaning that they weren't originally made for the wii, but added in through homebrew and wad injectors later.

These are the news of WiiXplorer-SS v260:
- Standard screen mode is now wider.
– Removed Deflicker filtering.
– Attractive pointer.
– Added sound effect when going through pictures.
– Changed up some of the graphics in the image viewer to be less intrusive.
I don't think it solves the issue, but we hope for the best.

No dice unfortunately it didn't work.....
@FEF1 the Ui looks a lot better in r260 than r259, I would upgrade it even if is just to look a bit better.

Seems like your findings is correct FEF1, 32gb usb drives give problems.

I now got an error from Xplorer when running ftp...
Both r259 and r260 does the same thing....it worked just an hour ago.Whats happening now.

When initialisating it just pops up this black screen with "Exception error" at the top followed by some code.
It then kicks out to homebrew menu.
Why?

Here you go really hope someone can help me out here.

Is the syscheck file all you need to be able and see whats wrong with WiiXplorer causing the error when starting FTP?

Okay, the IOSes arent the issue, and anything FTP related in WiiXplorer is out as you upgraded, which reverted your settings. You said it worked earlier, and all you have done since then is install IOS62 to get Syscheck running.
Try going to WiiXplorer's settings and change the ios it uses to 249.

@alexander1970 no it's I don't mind.So your saying my system isn't up to date?

@FEF1 no no.I 1st installed IOS 62 cause before that I couldn't even finish the scan with syscheck.
I basically didn't do anything. After I updated the IOS62, I asked you guys a few things 1 of them were how to transfer files over wifi.Thats when alexander introduced me to wiixplorer.I already had it as an app but didn't know it worked as ftp aswell.

So I ran wiixplorer with ftp and deleted a few things on the sd and I wanted to copy my apps from usb to sd but, I couldn't find the usb. Then I came here to ask you guys for advice and you told me bout xplorer r260.
I downloaded it with my phone then copied it to pc and thought 'ok well ftp is working, I'll just copy xplorer to the wii through wifi' and then when I tried ftp again I got the error....

You see something always blocks me or goes wrong.

@alexander1970 do I just download modmii to pc and upload my syscheck.csv to get what you posted?

Can I download those things manually aswell?
Why are there so many files needed, is my wii not running optimally?

Can I use dop-mii v16 or is it not safe?

Well, let me sleep on the issue, and I will get back to you tomorrow. It is 11:30 at night (Atleast where I am) and any answer I give you now is probably not going to make much sense. Modmii is a great tool made by XFlak that can do almost anything with Wii modding. I would recommend checking it out.
Quick note that Modmii triggers some Antiviruses, as it does batch downloads. It is completely fine, just tell your AV to ignore it.

I must say that in my case modmii does not analyze my syscheck well, this operation has difficulties.
Here the comparison of what I said:
