n00bey has released a new homebrew game for the Nintendo DS. It is a port of a Super Mario clone called "SyobonAction", also known as the "Impossible Japanese Game". But unlike other platformers, this one focuses on offering utterly hard and rage-stimulating gameplay. For more informations and references to walkthroughs, take a look at the source.

I remember people looking for this sort of thing 3-4 years ago lol
If only i had a time machine.

I cannot download this game fast enough. This game is a proven way to vent frustration.

By throwing your DS at the wall.

Oh, this game. I had fun with it on the PC. It has a bad Android port as well, called Super Mario Cat Game.
Since it only has 4 levels, it doesn't take very long to beat, even though I'm mediocre at games.

If you're playing this to vent frustration you should play the PC version instead though. Better to be throwing your keyboard at the wall than the DS :P

It's not so much that the game is extremely challenging, it's more that it contradicts every sense of logic people have been accustomed to in Mario games, even platformers in general. Once you start to understand the game's twisted logic, it's not so hard anymore.

The PC version is the gaming equivalent to making love to someone you have always wanted to make love to and it being everything that you ever want it to be...and then someone you really dislike rims you.

Though for some that would enhance the pleasure.

i loved the pc version. it was extremely hilarious when I had my friends play it.

I had my bro speed run (did it in like 3 minutes) the first three-four levels without dying while playing the song "Fuck it all" and "trololololol" and we got a video of it on the wii port... didn't turn out half bad ;)

Warning: Spoilers

You have been warned, Strong language from music.

Actually, from the look of those screenshots, it seems like it has more levels now than when I last played it. Maybe I should give it another go :P

Yes. This one also includes all levels which kinda became public under the name "SyobonAction 2" on youtube. Finishing the *eherm* bossfight" [the big chicken thingy, original end] is a little less than half of the level-count on this one.
