this is really weird

I cannot access the SXOS installer or cheat menu etc

I can access the SXOS boot menu though and I can run previously installed games via SXOS installer

of course I tried to redownload the latest SXOS version (2.8 beta) and I'm running switch os 8.1 (no emunand)

any idea what to do?

SOLVED!

basically I had a bunch of corrupted nsp files.

sx installer gave me that info

thanks!

mac, but before ejecting the card, on the terminal I do:

dot_clean -f /Volumes/NONSWITCH
sudo chflags -R arch /Volumes/NONSWITCH/switch/
sudo chflags -R arch /Volumes/NONSWITCH/roms/
sudo chflags -R arch /Volumes/NONSWITCH/config/
sudo chflags -R arch /Volumes/NONSWITCH/sxos/
sudo chflags -R arch /Volumes/NONSWITCH/reicast/
sudo chflags -R arch /Volumes/NONSWITCH/firmware/

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

also, if it helps, if I press R when I click on the album to enter HBC or press L to enter the real album, everything is fine.

have you tried downloading the SX Installer v1.52 (sx.nro) and copied it to the \switch\ folder?

also do you have the homebrew menu hbmenu.nro on the root of the SD card?
