Hello all:

I’ve been messing with this situation for months. I could use your help. Here is the situation. I recently lost my SD card. I purchased a 256 card that worked great. My son updated the switch by accident. Now, we go to the SXOS CFW menu. I’ve tried it with OFW, CFW, with Emunand, Without Emunand. With AutoRCM installed, without it installed. Each time, the screen is black and I have to do a full reboot. I hold the plus button and get back into the SXOS menu, then nothing.

I’ve tried to erase the entire disk and restart. I’ve tried it on a PC. I’ve tried it on a Mac. I’ve tried backing up my nand and running with and without Emunand. I’ve tried it while standing on my hands. I’m on the latest SXOS beta. I’ve used pre-packaged SD Card images and built them from scratch. Nothing is fixing this issue.

Here is my question, any simple thing to fix this?

Should I try installing AIO Updater on top of this?

Now that I have SXOS installed, should I find a way to switch to Atmosphere?

I’m at a loss and can really use your help GBA Temp forums, your my only hope.

Different reasons this can happen. 1: somehow you are setup for fat32 or ext but your sd card is in the opposite format. 2: you updated and are on a switch os version that sxos doesnt support. 3: corrupt sd card.

Im guessing you are just on the newest firmware which sxos doesnt support.

heres a guide for atmosphere
