I see your point, thats why its released as 1.0 poc, and free version does not let you use the custom hbmenu or go into the other 2 menus, just licence menu and legacy hb menu.
We get sig patches done, load em up in hekate, and then the crack will work with xci and nsp

Awesome work, thanks.

rls1.0: - .XCI Games wont load (They need kips for the sigpatching - get the sigs = will work)

Be careful. There's some fake kips for signature patching that will brick your device.

It's a bit sad really there are some great minds in this scene but at the moment so many of them just want to rip off Team Xecuter.

And yes I know that TX re-used code from others in their product but just because they did it, that doesn't make it right.

I don't care what happens to TX. They lack ethics.

I agree the scene is full of great minds, that could accomplish even more if they stop focusing in tearing apart TX's work and they do their own stuff instead. But I understand that they are doing all this probably because understanding what TX did is fun. It's a challenge for them, and they want to know how to solve it. Some people love sudokus, other people love finding a patch for SX OS.

Bravo, that comment was so dumb I actually bothered to post in this dumpster of a thread.

I like how people are "ripping off" TX, but TX is just "re-using" code from others. :rofl2:

TX made their own unique product, partially based off the work of others. Their methods were definitely questionable but right now there is nothing else out there that can do what their software can.

So you're saying cracking SXOS to make your way around a $20 license purchase is somehow more ethically right than what TX does? Great minds for sure.
And don't even hit me with "But they charge money for using other people's work!" because both you and me know this happens not just here.
Neither side is ethically superior in any way. If you were the author of some code SXOS used I could kind of understand your reasoning behind wanting to get a slice of the cake but you're just as much of a lurker as 95% of the people who are waiting for SXOS to be cracked so they can get their hands on a reliable and working CFW / XCI loader so they can play their ethically pirated games.
In addition you specifically are posting other people's work here for karma, so I wouldn't lean too far out the window.

Cmon why are you all complaining? Its the damn SXOS CRACK(!!) Thread!

If you are not ok with cracking piracy software, you shouldnt be around here

Thanks for your feedback. I still don't care.

I don't need nor I want or need to explain to anybody my motivations. It seems like I need to explain explain every single time to unknown people that all my games are original and it will continue being like this. It also looks like I need to explain over and over again that I don't post stuff for karma, but because I find them interesting or because I don't want people to brick their devices. My interest here is, as many others in the scene (but not all, because it seems that I always need to clarify that giving an example or representation doesn't include the whole population), to know how they did it and how to solve a challenge. I still have a lot to learn to reach as far as others, tho. I also understand that some people just want to release a patch for SX OS just because they are totally opposed to what TX is doing. Good for them.

In any case, I will continue thinking whatever I want to think, and I will continue doing whatever I want to do.

Without even getting into just how much you think partially truly is, that has nothing to do with what ever morality you were trying to bring in to the discussion.

But yes, I appreciate them packaging everything up neatly which is why I bought it.

- .XCI Games wont load (They need kips for the sigpatching - get the sigs = will work)

This somehow doesn't make sense to me. Does this say that if I run a CFW with sig patches, that .XCI loading will work?
If so, I tried it with ReiNX on 3.0.0 + sig patches and it crashes upon selecting a .XCI file.

In a nutshell, yes. The problem here is the signature patches used to run SX OS aren't being redirected so all .XCIs will still fail (as well as the .NSP files). They're designed to be used with SX OS and not any other CFW.
