A crack is being able to use the sx os without having a license.
This is just loading the menu with homebrew loader

Loading it with the SX OS, which isnt possibble with the licenceless version

I think the point of cracking the OS is getting around the security check, or what do you consider a crack?

You being able to run SX OS without paying for a license would be considered cracked. What you are considering cracked is awfully premature.

I feel like I've already got my $30 worth. Getting mad over it is a minimum wage problem. Waiting for a crack for a $30 piece of software is also a minimum wage issue.

Tbh 30 bucks alone for the Jig and the dongle itself is more than worth the 30 bucks for convenience sake.

I see your point, thats why its released as 1.0 poc, and free version does not let you use the custom hbmenu or go into the other 2 menus, just licence menu and legacy hb menu.
We get sig patches done, load em up in hekate, and then the crack will work with xci and nsp

You didn't do anything of significance yourself, stop pretending you did. It's not a crack and it doesn't function like the proper software. You didn't even test it yourself, "should work", what the heck is that? Do things properly. The work was pretty much all hexkyz and rei. Wtf are you trying to accomplish by assuming credit for these things anyway? If it's respect and recognition - it's working. In the negatives.

Who's laughing more? The person who can happily spend $30 with no worries and enjoy a finished product even if 2 months down the line it is not required? Or the person who cannot afford $30 so has to wait for a cracked license and then makes fun of the people who had $30 to throw away simply because they no longer need the $30 license?

Did PRAGMA just took what rei did and called it his own work?

No, I popped the og boot.dat up into IDA and patched out calls, I nopped the bit that prints the console fingerprint and then essentially nopped the calls that tell the UI if L/R works and also patched checks for "amILicenced()->return yes" which makes it go to "games" tab by default.

No. Essentially he did achieve nothing before Rei released the exact same "cracked" version.
