Not a thing on 3.0.0 where some of us areWe actually really ONLY need the signature patches to add to atmosphere...because we can install nsps now, and we can convert xci to nsp https://gbatemp.net/threads/nspbuild-build-nsp-files.509816/

Did anyone try install NSPs an run them with DevMenu through SX OS WITHOUT a license ? Maybe the sigpatches is on the whole os and not only the backup loader.
dont work.. not open devmenu
What if you use Atmosphère's LayeredFS to run devMenu and install the game and then use unlincensed SX OS to play it?dont work.. not open devmenu

The thing with pirating SX OS is, most of the people that are interested in SX OS are pirates. Most of the people that have a Switch are not.
A nicely written post but just a reminder to all, debating whether piracy hurts sales or helps them is offtopic. This depends on what country you are in. Back in the day of PS1 and PS2 and XBOX, in some countries you couldn't even buy legit versions of the consoles. They were sold almost exclusively with modchips installed. That likely did hit the bottom line.
Real losses are irrelevant (and hard to evaluate) however. It's perceived loses that hurt the general user. If the developers THINK the platform is insecure and easy to pirate on, they may become more reluctant.
I personally believe it's a pretty small percentage in 1st world countries with strong IP laws. That said, some of these threads have hundreds of thousands of views....

Namaste ;)
That's not brick code .It's called Fu***** up the data file. It's your own fault then.they want people to have its full functionality for free, on top of this instead of bricking it puts the emmc into a loop instead of locking it so theres still a "brick code" https://twitter.com/hexkyz/status/1014576373761863680
thanks, just waiting on the packer for 1.3

i am aware this is the unpacker i said now i was waiting for the packer for 1.3That is the unpacker for 1.3 already.
Seems like obfuscation and security checks (as expected) are still there. Cracking this will still be a lot of work...

I see decrypted sx is in the wild now. I'll cut to the chase.. loader has a 'tx' service with IPCs that check license, if pro ver, etc. These IPCs are called in the txlauncher. I cracked it by patching the IPC function in loader. lol. Also need to manually relocate addrs in kips.

yes i modified the files and tried packing it with the old packer with a slight alteration and it just comes up with cannot find boot.dat but i didn't look into it to hard so i will just wait for the latest packer and see what i can come up with.sorry misread this.
Did you modify some files already?
This is proof that memes always win in the end. It's apparently been cracked.

there product is about convenience this is not XD and you can't fault the build quality, people who just want a plug and play solution will still buy there productTX must be having a bad day, between the OS being cracked and patched units showing up, their market basically ended.
