I have 2 PS5s both jailbroken both on firmware 11.0. I have Y2JB installed on one of them. I cant seem to get it installed on the other.

I load the web jailbreak then go to settings->debug
install pkg and select the youtube app
it states added unknown to downloads
but then I get nothing the app doesnt appear to install.
I am using an activated and signed in account -> I used elfarsenel to check

As far as I can tell the app loads into the PS5 but it fails to register an icon.
Any help would be appreciated.

I finally got it to work. I'm not sure why it would not install I think I tried just about everything. Even restored my PS5 back to a previous install. Still could not get Y2JB to display an icon. I think it must have got in a wierd state where it did not fully install. I couldn't install and I couldnt uninstall.

What ended up working which was a bit reckless but I had a backup and tried it anyway. In filezilla I chose server->search remote files then searched for PPSA01650. Once it found the files I would right click and choose delete. After I got all the files deleted I restarted my PS5 then jailbroke with the disk. Then reinstalled Y2JB and this time it worked!!!

You're a fucking genius my friend 🙏🏻 THANK YOU! This was also happening to me and giving me such a headache for 2 days straight trying to find a solution lol

What you mentioned here was literally the only solution I needed and it worked flawlessly lol, so straight forward too, no errors at all

Thank you so much man, I hope everyone having this issue finds this post, your update surely will help many more in need!! I've ceated an account here just to thank you xD you're a lifesaver man

It's a bit flaky.
Everything went as standard for me.
It worked as it should, updated from the update.
After a reboot I had the updated icon for it once then it reverted back to the YouTube standard icon.
It does actually work all the time so zero complaints but yeah, no Y2JB icon on mine.

you need to download the "y2jb_update.zip" file from the autoloader repo, put it on the root folder of the console and run the autoloader with it there at least once for it to update the icon to Y2JB relapse

not sure that if you remove the zip from root the icon defaults back to the yt app, but I just let the zip there on my console n that's it :p

Did that. Like I say, logo updated once after the update then reverted.
Sufficed to say it doesn't matter to me. Main thing is it works more reliably than the WebKit.
