This method worked for me though, v196608 give you a 1.3gb file which seems to be the whole season pass, v65536 only give you a 100mb file so it look kinda like a bad dump

I can't find v65536 of dlc 1 and 2 any pointers

Sorry, can't really help much with that. I just used BOB GUI for CDNSP (make sure you have the newest version 3.5.2 I believe) and got it directly. Takes all of the guess work out of trying to figure out what is what and what works together and what is the newest version.

Good point. Forgot that there was a season pass DLC as well which had data for both. I don't think the others are bad dumps. They worked for me. I think the data got rolled into the main game update at some point as the DLC is small for those, which generally means it is just unlocking something already present in the game.

I'm glad this worked for you. Not sure the intricacies around why the latest update file wouldn't work in this case, but hopefully this helps someone else.

Just so I understand, and any help appreciated...

1 - DL NSP (does anything need to be patched at all or anything done with the NSP?)
2 - Throw on Root of SD card
3 - Boot into SX os and select NSP
4 - It will prompt to install to either internal or SD card?

Profit?

Also, if you have some NSP's installed on other SD cards will the OS just say the SD card is not inserted?

THANKS!

@Zygizz
The same way you would do it if it was a game you purchased (google it or visit N site, I had the same question myself)
You go to settings and look for manage / delete (don't have the Switch near me, so best I can explain it)

The update for the main base game is 929MB.

The files should look like this:

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild [01007ef00011e800][v720896].nsp (Update 929MB newest update)
*Note - updates always appear to end in 800 at the end of the ID.

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild [01007ef00011e000][v0].nsp (Base Game 13 something GBs...I use the XCI and real game so I don't have it to reference)
*Note - Version 0 base games appear to end in 000 at the end of the ID.

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild [01007ef00011f001][v0].nsp (DLC 1 v0)
*Note - DLC usually counts up from 1 in the last digit of the title ID. This is version 0 of the DLC. You don't need this anymore.

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild [01007ef00011f001][v65536].nsp (DLC 1 v65536) This is the newer version of DLC 1.

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild [01007ef00011f002][v0].nsp (DLC 2 v0)

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild [01007ef00011f002][v65536].nsp (DLC 2 v65536) This is the newer version of DLC 2

So I have the v720896 update of the base game, v65536 of DLC 1 and DLC 2. Installed all three and launched the game from my actual game cart and everything worked as expected.

@Sonics99 thanks for all of that info, it's still a little confusing as to what version DLC to download. I believe only DLCv1 is compatible with my game version 1.3.1 (001) - I am still on firmware 3.0.2 so can't update the game any further I believe..

PS - I have downloaded "[DLC] The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild DLC Pack 1 [DLC][01007ef00011f001][v196608].nsp" which is 1.29GB, ok to install to SD or internal?

Thanks!!!

seems temperamental in my experience. i was finally able to get BotW updates and all the dlc installed but at first i was getting issues with the update file causing my switch to freeze when i go into the sx os menu to install it. now i'm having issues with the update files for South Park. its doing the same thing that the BotW update used to do, freezing my switch when i go into the sx os menu to install it. only update files cause this though, nothing else. any idea what causes this?

You got a corrupted .nsp Try to download it again. It happened to me twice today and fixed it this way.

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild [01007ef00011f001][v0].nsp (DLC 1 v0)

I have searched for this all over the internet (even deep, deep places) and cannot find it. The only thing that i'm able to find is Zelda BOTW [DLC] [01007ef00011f001][v196608] which would require me to update according to my research. Maybe I am missing something? Also is the updated v65536 (which i cant find either) compatible with my OFW 3.0.1? Does anyone know how I can get the first DLC without updating past OFW 3.0.1?
