Hi, so I'm new here, and new to Homebrew on the vita. I have the 1001 model and a Sony brand memory card was required for me to jailbreak it. No problem. But I have two different 8gb Sony cards, and only one of them was used to downgrade and jailbreak. ...And I forgot to back up all of my files from the one I didn't use before I went through with it, because it just didn't cross my mind ☠️. My question is, can I switch out the memory cards temporarily without causing any damage in any way? I just need it long enough to use the content manager, because I want the files for when I get sd2vita set up.

Yes, try deleting the file id.dat in the memory card

Wouldn't that delete the PSN account off of the memory card? Both cards are tied to the same account, is it necessary, or can I just eject the card safely and replace it with the other that wasn't used in the jailbreak process?

should be fine. id.dat is usually for using the card from a different system. it wouldn't matter if you deleted it most likely. it might rebuild the database though, which is okay.

thank you, memcardswap helped. I managed to backup my other card, now I don't have to worry about it again. I appreciate the help.
