What have you tried to do?
Have you tried turning it off completely (not just sleep mode) and restarting it?
Have you dropped it?
Have you spilled water on it?

May be touchscreen ribbon cable unattached, it is very easy to check. Some times chip on touchscreen+cartridge board goes bad, replacement part is cheap and easy to replace.
