Touchscreen not working in unpatched switch

I've repared many switches before but i've never encoutered something like this. Touchscreen doesn't work, tried 5 different game cartridges and 3 spare touchscreens i have. None of them work in any combination is this switch but all of them work in another nintendo switch i have here. I even replaced the connector that goes from the cartridge to the switch. The headphones jack is working so the connector is probably ok...Does anyone have a clue? What other component can have an influence on the touch functionality. Im lost here...

I have a lot of these in the workshop, including one with the rectangular chip...in addition im pretty sure the original cartridge that came with this switch also works because it works with other switches i have...

Hardware  Thread 'Digitizer replacement issues'

I recently replaced my digitizer and am having an issue. When in hekate it works fine, after booting to system, be it emu or system, only the edges work and the left side about 2 inches in. I have read that others have had this problem and that a fix might be to replace game cartridge reader? Anyone here have this issue, and can anyone confirm that replacing the cartridge reader fixes the issue? I know the cable is in correctly, and I have tried 2 different digitizer's. When I put my original back in it works fine, just scratched to hell!
