I have a gen 1 switch and i want to continue using cfw on it but the right rail where the jig goes gave out i have a replacement part but cause there is a stripped screw it cant be open and replace without cracking the console and i dont want that to happen does anyone know a way to do cfw with out the right side

You have to drill out the screw. Start with a very small steel drill (1.5-2) and then use a slightly larger one if necessary.

It also happened to me, one of the screws was particularly tight.

But the game fix guy said that could crack the system

Dude I had all the right bits and used them yet one of my screws got stripped. I was a bit upset (see what I did there?) Yes it is sad though. Be very careful with the drill and you should be golden. I have drilled out some pentalobe screws before and just had to be very very careful. Good luck!

you can't break anything i you be careful enough. fix the switch with suitable equipment (i just clamp it between my legs :) ).

the size of the drill should be just as big as the diameter of the bit you used. start with a low rotational speed.
by the way, only the two middle screws fix the backcover of the switch.

Can anyone make a video on how to do it

You are going to have to remove the stripped screw first before replacing the rails, gonna be hard if you have a stripped screw, you gonna need extractor bit to try to remove the stripped screw, there is specific bits for removing stripped screws.

Do you know witch one is needed

Well you need to find the size of the screw that Nintendo used for the rail, Im not sure the acutal size, you need to find an extractor bit that fits, and use a controllable speed drill to remove it in reverse, you can't use a regular drive, you need one that you can customize the speed.

loads of options

Firstly always make sure your screw bit/head fits correctly and is at the right angle, I guess ya learnt a lesson.
anyway

1
you can use a rubber band over the screw and use the same or better screw driver to undo with a little force,

If not

2
cut a horizontal line in screw say with dremel, or other cutting method like special haxsaw blade and then unscrew with flat head screw driver slowly

3
to use something like a Spiral screw extractor set
you can find ones for that small of screw.

Just drill out the head of the screw then you can remove the side rails and grab the rest of the screw with a small pair of wire snips and turn it. make sure you don't get metal shaving s on your motherboard.

Is there a video at all for this cause the local Techs in my town said if i try and Do this it can crack the screen

If you don't know how to use a drill DON'T DO IT! Ask or pay someone to do it.

Side note, if you had the correct screwdriver head (and a quality part) it wouldn't have have become threaded

I've done it a few times. If they are incapable of doing something that simple, I wouldn't trust them with my console to begin with.

Don't all drills have that?

Go slow, so you don't stress parts of the console more than necessary. Only go far enough to remove the head, so that when you get it apart, there should be enough of the screw sticking out to grab it with pliers to unscrew it.
