I played Zelda TotK and overclocked my Ram and GPU. I noticed the fan speed slowly going up in Status Monitor, so I think the PWM still works. It’s not a instant jump to 100%.
The Switch feels very warm and the SoC idles at 65c, without it ever going over. I can’t even hear the fan, even when putting my ear to the exhaust.
From what I’ve read on the internet, anything under 60c is normal, and the fan is supposedly very loud at 100%. Is something wrong, or is this normal for the OLED models? Maybe I messed something up while installing the modchip, or the fan is being blocked from spinning properly..
