I'm pretty new to this and have a modding related question.

I have an emunand (or emummc, dont know the difference) set up, and I have a shitload of .nsp games installed through tinfoil. I've gone through all the safety methods as detailed in the guide. I was wondering if I could play smash online through the base sysnand, I own the game so would I get banned if I delete the .nsp version and dlc I dont own, and download it from the eshop legitimately? And do I have to delete the save file too since it's probably tangled with all the dlc data? Or can I just never be online with the sysnand when I have any .nsp game installed? And finally if all of those conditions work out, can I download an community save file so I dont need to unlock all the fighters manually again?

You would get banned, if your NAND isn't clean meaning pirated games.

@Hayato213 is right…deleting games wont work and your logs will likely show tracks. You have to have never installed anything dirty (NSP/XCI) on your Sysnand in order to safely go online with it.

If you’ve only installed your dirt on your Emunand, you’re fine on your Sysnand and there’s no need to delete anything.

Cheating in Online games can definitely get you banned…

If you’ve only installed your dirt on your Emunand, you’re fine on your Sysnand and there’s no need to delete anything.

Emunand is an exact copy of your Sysnand. The two do not interact with each other. You can install anything you want in Emunand but do NOT allow it to go online (use things like exosphere, dns:mitm, Ingognito_RCM and even 90DNS.)

You can have anything you want on storage. It will not be read.

Be sure to not install anything but pure clean purchased Nintendo games on your Sysnand and play safely to your hearts content online with it. Don’t get tricky and try to run CFW on your Sysnand until you fully understand what you can get away with and you’ll be fine. This is the golden rule for new folks. This is exactly how I and countless others behave with no impact so far.

I think you need to dump it to the SD and then copy the content off to another device either via hekate or dbi sd card mounting via computer

LibUSB is not available in the legacy build of NXDumpTool but there are POC builds of the rewrite available on Discord that are USB enabled.

Try moving your /edizon directory to /edizon.bk and then move your /switch/edizon directory to /switch/edizon.bk and then reinstall the nro.

i mean you should rename all your current “edizon” folders to an alternate names (same name but with a .bk suffix) to get them out of the way and then install a fresh copy of edizon to see if getting the old setup out of the way helps with this issue.

btw I saw my cheat list was in atmosphere/contents not on edizon folder, no files/cheat files on edizon sir

Lets move that too then. Move it somewhere safe. I have a /backup folder on my SDCard where I will move things out of the way temporarily to test things. We just want to get Things working again and then we will move things back one at a time until it breaks again. This will help us identify what is causing the issue.

To back them out you would simply move ( or delete) these files in the /atmosphere/exefs_patches/am/ directory.

Easy way is to make a backup of any directory before you make changes to it and if you want to roll back, just replace the entire thing with the pristine original copy.

It didn't work the edizon.bk that why I change again in edizon It works already but not all have cheat specially new games like haak and tunic,and My nintendo switch crash once I use edizon on saint row,

It should absolutely work if you move all the comfiguration folders to a backup folder.

so you are saying you moved everything out of the way and installed edizon from scratch it still doesn’t work?

we’re not trying to get any specific cheats working…we’re simply trying to get to a known working state.

its working again sir,I just forgot to put cheat folder before cheat.txt on tunic and haak,now I was able to use cheats thanks btw
