dont use 90dns, use incognito on your emunand, or use exosphere to blank prodinfo on emunand. this way you can connect to wifi to ftp to your switch and use lanplay to playonline using LANPLAY if you choose. once you do that, there is nothing you can do to get banned inside your emunand. your emunand will be forever invisible to nintendo (so long as you want it to be).

Follow this guide. Not only was it the first guide to be released for the Switch scene but its been updated regularly as the scene progressed.

I recently got hwfly installed on my switch. I set up my SD card using "HATS-1.3.2-Combo" and then the first thing I did after the install was a backup of (eMMC Boot0 & Boot1) & emmc RAW GPP in Hekate. I have all nintendo servers blocked @ the router level as well as wifi shut off on the switch + the host file configured on the SD card to block nintento.

While trying to familiarize myself with how everything works (as I am newbie) I accidentally booted into CFW - sysMMC and began launching some homebrew through the Album App. (My original intent was to keep the original firmware clean so that I can still go online and purchase new titles , and only use emuMMC for homebrew stuff )

My question is: Since I accidentally booted into CFW-sysMMC , did this cause the nand to be dirty in any way such that if I were to turn on my wifi, would my console get banned? ( From what I could tell only 1 app got installed (Tin Foil) while I was browsing through the homebrew apps. I deleted the Tin Foil App using the data management feature , but I am not sure if that has left any sort of residual files.. Nothing else got installed from what I could tell (No apps, no games, nothing.. )

Going forward I only plan on using CFW-emuMMC, but would like to know how I can still use the original firmware to go online for the existing games I've bought + buy new titles and whether by me booting into CFW - sysMMC has caused any sort of issue.

Online check says it could already be patched ie maybe it is moddable

Said switch has HAC-001 on the back

What chances would u give this console to have custom firmware running on it?

Is it a case of knowing which os is running on the console? I think it is is v1 console

If it says possible patched you have 50% of it being unpatched, 50% of it being patched, it is a gamble.

But mods doesn't work, any idea or tip? Or the path for this game is not the same as the previous ine?

hey guys, how do I install split XCI with tinfoil/goldleaf/awooo on Atmosphere? I use exFAT so I split the XCI with XCI cutter but none of the 3 apps I use to install seem to recognize them and offer an option to install them as a whole XCI.

I haven't tried with an XCI but with split NSPs. I put them split parts labeled '00', '01' etc., and then put them in a folder labeled 'example.nsp' and copied it to my SD card on Switch. Then Goldleaf wouldn't detect it as an NSP so I had to use Goldleaf to set an archive bit on the folder then it would work. I could never get split NSPs to install over USB PC and USB HDD though. I assume you do the same thing with an XCI.

The filesystem for the sequel may be different. You can use nxdumptool to look through the filesystem structure/dump the files of the game so you can put the files in the right place. Also the file format of the files may have been changed between games meaning you may need different utilities but I can't say because I haven't looked into the game.

Tried that, the path is the same for both but still can't get them to work

I like this guide.
you do not need 90dns, all you need is EITHER incognito OR exosphere. both do the same. 90dns is shit, requires setup per connection and throttles your connection for ftp/lanplay ect.

if all you had done was open a homebrew, youd be fine, but sounds like you installed tinfoil nsp, meaning you had tinfoil tile on homescreen, thats a big nono. but good news it you just backed up your sysnand. so yes your sysnand is dirty, you can restore it though.

if your on exfat (which is bad btw, you should reformat to fat32 before you regret it) you dont need to split any files so idk why you did that. fat32 has 4gig transfer limit but that doesnt matter if you use tinfoil or dbi usb install. drag the game on pc to switch to install.

FIrst: It is highly recommended to NOT use exFAT. Even officially (no CFW at all) sd cards get corrupted. The exFAT driver is crap.

Second: Why are you trying to split files anyway? you don't need to split with exFAT.

You could buy a magic-ns adapter from Mayflash.
Also, you could buy a cheaper controller. I have this one and it's actually pretty decent quality for the price. Battery life is good, too, at around 25-30 hours, in my experience.

Am I better off buying one of those console only V1's off of ebay then acquiring the rest elsewhere, Or just grabbing another semi-newer edition in good condition and mod-chipping it? I do have a good amount of modchipping/soldering experience from the xbox scene.

buying a V1 is the best choice if you want to run android also.

Here I am again
Said that I did not fix my original issue, I noticed that I was not able anymore to start ofw without going into hetake and press stock button, i.e. if I power up the console without pyalod without nothing, screen remains black.
Any idea about cause and how can I fix it? Maybe is related to my original issue ...
And what about start everything from the beginning but not simply resetting to factory from console few, but using the and backup I did. Could be a solution?
