I've been out of the Switch game for the last year or so and my memory is horrible. I am on 11.00 FW with SXOS 3.1.0 on an original NSW version 1 (not sure what these are called), but I got no clue if I am on SysNAND or EmuNAND? I looked up how to find out, but it's not entirely clear to me. I want to migrate to Atmosphere, but also keep SXOS if I ever want to roll back to it just play XCI games or whatever.

I have multiple microSD cards, also have the SX Dongle. I think it would be best though to just stick to one SD card for now, as the likelihood of going back to SXOS right now isn't very high, I just want to always have that option to do so. I just want to know where to start. Please help.

Hey guys,
I really feel like I´ve tried everything.

Since atmosphere went with its big update 1.0, I encounter problem after problem after problem again.

a lot of nsp won’t play.
they install allright, but won’t play.
doesn’t matter the source
Doesn’t matter the sigpatches or version of atmosphere. nothing works.

I´m on a v1 switch on last atmosphere with these sigpatches:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/sigpatches-for-atmosphere-hekate-fss0-fusee-package3.571543/

I’ve formated my sd card, clean installed, updated everything.
I’ve tried on fusee.bin and hekate.
I’ve installed the nsp with tinfoil, goldleaf

Did I miss something?

System firmware, SD card format?

You can use SX OS if you want, but games that require newer masterkey won't run on SX OS, if you move over to Atmosphere you lose the XCI mounting and HDD feature, as for the sysnand or emunand, if you used an emunand, check the SX OS menu if it is emunand it would says emunand.

OK yeah don't see the emunand anywhere, so I must be on Sysnand. So am I able to do an EmuNAND and upgrade to latest FW and install Atmosphere there and leave my SysNAND with 11.0 and SXOS as is to go back to it later?

Should be able to, you can also make a NAND backup just in case.

I think I made a NAND backup years ago when I first did my Switch, but honestly have no clue. Anyway, where do I get started with all this? I looked under tutorials, but there are like 230+ posts lol

You can either make one emunand or make two emunand if you want to preserve sysnand firmware.

So I just updated to 11.0. 0 (exfat) on my cfw but now I can't boot my console up. After it installed/updated I clicked on restart now. How do I stop my console from keep looping the logo? When I plug it in my laptop to load the payload it boots the logo like normal but I can't get past it :( I need help to get my console working again.

Hi I've bought a used switch. My old one isn't in the best condition so I'm selling that one.

If I simply delete my nand and the old keys can I rehack. Then install the game tickets only??? The games are already in the raw folder I think but are they linked via the keys or is it just the ticket that's linked?

Also I've made backups of saves but would these copy over?

If you have autoRCM enabled and you're updating your system while in stock firmware, updating will disable autoRCM and you will need to enter RCM manually to boot custom firmware again. To prevent autoRCM from being disabled, boot CFW on sysMMC and update through settings from there, as booting without AutoRCM will burn any preserved fuses.

From https://switchgui.de/switch-guide/extras/updating/

I can see how preverving fuses may be a good thing but doesn't updating whilst in CFW carry a ban risk??? (and I know CFW is a ban risk anyway)... I'm amazed nintendo can't detect that.
