Hey ! I heard that Airplane mode when Switch is on the dock is unavailable !! How to prevent the console to connect to Nintendo's Server and avoiding a ban ?

Hey everyone.
So I'm having a bit of trouble trying to install ReiNX on my Switch using the "hekate_ctcaer_4.2" bin file. I followed all the instructions in the video I was watching, but when I plug my SD card back in my Switch and attempt to load it using the menu, I get the following error in red letters: "No payloads or libraries found". I skimmed some of the forum and can't seem to find a solution. I've tried restarting the process and even booting normally then back into RCM. but nothing works so far.
If anyone can shed some light on this issue it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Edit: Btw I have an NS-Atmosphere dongle. Can I just use that instead of Tegra Gui thing?

Draxzelex - Unfortunately that site you suggested is ever super slow, or I'm missing something...else. Meanwhile, I've got hold of hekate ctcaer v4.2, which is now telling me I have "no payloads or libraries found" - so I guess I need one or some of those now? I've done some googling, but not sure what's what as yet...

Thanks again

Royster
Did you ever find a solution?

Are biskeys required to restore a whole nand backup if I ever want to revert back to vanilla land? I wasn't able to extract them through keyzplz-nx. The nro wouldn't load for me before I took the plunge by installing some games. files.. ;-;

keyzplz-nx isn't what gives you the biskeys. It gives you a "keys.txt" file which contains all the keys for the Switch, but the biskeys are different. I don't remember if you actually get these using keyzplz-nx or not, but you can actually get the biskeys by dumping them straight from within Hekate (Look under either "Tools" or "Console Info", I think it's the latter).

Now, with that said, NO, the biskeys are not required for restore a Nand dump. The Boot0/1 files and the rawnand.bin is considered a full Nand backup.

Biskeys are required for tampering with a Nand backup using hactool (for example, if you want to upgrade your FW using ChoiDujour, or extract the theme files from your Nand)

Yay! I don't have to worry anymore.
Thank you~

This guide has instructions on how to dump the NAND, add exFAT support via the homebrew application ChoiDujourNX (which is the same tool used in the guide you linked), and how to update your firmware without burning fuses (which is also by using ChoiDujourNX). The guide you linked to updating without burning fuses is outdated and even recommends to use ChoiDujourNX instead. Also, all firmwares are supported as long as the console is not patched, which given that you bought the console in April is most likely not patched. Lastly, if you are going to be using ChoiDujourNX (which you should since it accomplishes two of things you want to do), it will enable AutoRCM by default to prevent fuses from being burnt so you do not need to enable it after using ChoiDujourNX.
For people who do not wish to install a trinket/buy a dongle/use a jig & USB cable to load CFW homebrew, Deja Vu is more convenient than the current exploit, Fusee Gelee. Deja Vu will most likely involve loading a webpage to boot CFW/homebrew and is confirmed to work up to firmware 4.1 (which is the same firmware Gag Order works up to).

Just wanted to thank you. I updated and everything works flawlessly, no burnt efuses etc.
Overall it was easier than I thought.

Thanks again!

Hi to all !Now long Story!I`m german(English can have mistakes)

I was on 5.1(fat32)make there Nand Backup and key and fuse dump(picture on the end). There i go with ChoiDujourNXv101 to 5.1 Exfat(perfect thing)all was fine,i was everytime with my wlan online every time i start a game there was the Question to Update(every time i say no and don´t update) but one time on running ReiNX i make a mistake and press update and the Console update it to 6.01(the update takes i think 15 seconds(very short)was that realy an full Update?)Fuck(i have want to stay on 5.1 every think works for me on 5.1)so now Games and Hbmenu all works, but now when i want go to rcm Mode i must turn 2-3-4 times off on the switch to become to rcm Mode, i dont find out whats the trick to turn it correct off now(i hold 15-20 seconds to turn off but not by first time i can go to rcm Mode(is on 6.01 a other way to turn off, that rcm mode works at first time?)have it something to to with the update i make on CFW? On switchident 2.0 it write Firmware Version:6.0.1-10, and by Kernel Version it write:Unknown2 ;(why Unknow2?).
Now when i go to system Option i dont see my Firmware Version nowhere; on section System-Update(i think there stands the Version number in the past?) now it only writes: ready to Sytem Update(is the reason ,now there is 6.1 the newest one) or have it something to do with my Update i make on CFW?
Is that not so good when there stands by my kernel Version:Unknown2? The Console is farther on EXfat that don´t change after Update(ok for me perfect).
Do you think i must to something with ChoiDujourNXv101 again(6.01-10 Exfat)with it to correct kernel Version?or better don´t touch it?
To you think can i restore my Backup from 5.1 to my Console? I don´t make in the past a Backup restore(i test normaly everthing was the Homebrewmaker Guys bring out but now with my mistake to Update on Cfw to 6.01 i ám not sure if is ok to make a restore i have fear ,the time i was on 5.1 is past time there
I would like that to test but now iam not on 5.1 correctly).
What do you think to that all i write(long story)?

Last to say Yes i have been banned now.

Thanks for answer!

Also now when i turn off with Power option(turn off) it turn off but i cant restart normally i must in black screen turn extra off with 15 second(to turn really off)(and its not in permanantly rcm Mode and at time i make the update on cfw i have not turn on the permanently rcm Mode in hekate) . to can turn normaly on.
In mormal mode and in cfw mode when i turn off it don´t shut completly off.Whats going on,also when i make the 2-3-4 times to become to rcm mode when it turn on in this times everytime the speaker is on highest Loud level when the switch go on(but this i think now is when i want go to rcm and i dont work, the console ist not correctley down and by pressing Volume up and On Button its only make volumen up)That is the reason wy speaker is on high.

Hey guys I read somewhere that leaving the Switch on RCM mode drains the battery. Does this mean when it's on RCM solely or when it's also on CFW?

Also, I activated AutoRCM on ReiNX and then powered it off. Then I plugged the charger in but it didn't show the little battery icon that says it's charging. Should I keep AutoRCM on and only charge the Switch on Sleep mode?

Is there a way to FTP to the Switch from a PC without enabling internet access on the Switch? I guess it would basically be wireless LAN without anything beyond that.

I updated to 6.1.0 over Nintendo's official firmware update, which means my fuses were burnt.
Will I be able to downgrade to 6.0 or is this also prevented by the fuses?
6.1 and 6.0 share the same number of fuses which is 7 fuses.
Thanks for your reply. So it is fine to update to 3.0.2 via guide sdsetup. I could downgrade to 1.0 later if required, right?
You can although 3.0.2 is an odd firmware to update to.
Hi ! I heard about a 90DNS solutions to connect and play online on Switch without getting a ban... Is this reliable ? Did someone around try it already ?
90DNS prevents you from playing any games online because it blocks all Nintendo-related services. Its basically a self-imposed ban because the effects mimic a real ban but the difference is you can undo 90DNS to return to normal play. However, this means it delays a ban rather than prevents it.
Thank you for the thorough reply.
When you say that I could download it in .NSP format, does that mean that I could somehow get a .NSP file from having bought it on the eshop? Or do you simply mean that there are places potentially where such an .NSP could exist, and that I could install that?

And as I understand this, if I upgrade with ChoiDujourNX to 6.1, then I can go on the eshop, download the game (plus get updates for other games for example), and then still downgrade back to 5.X whenever is needed? Thanks for your help.
The latter; there are plenty of warez sites that host various .NSP files where you can procure your game from.

And you can update to 6.1 using ChoiDujourNX but you risk a ban when accessing the eShop afterwards.

90DNS
Hi guys. What is a XCI without CERT and what can I do with the MD5?
A .XCI file without a certificate cannot be used to play online because it is the cert that enables a .XCI file to go online. The MD5 is a check to make sure you have a good file but its useless on its own; it needs to be checked with an MD5 database. I don't know of any MD5 databases.
I was wondering...what is the most uptodate, easiest, safest way to backup the NAND?
CTCaer's mod of Hekate
Best way to make a backup? I did my 4.1 backup with hetake. Is it still the best way to do it?
Well Hekate has been update to V4.2 but Hekate is still the best tool to backup/restore the NAND.

AutoRCM reduces the charge rate of the Switch in RCM, period. Meaning you should never charge the Switch in RCM or while its off because it will charge very slowly. Either do not use AutoRCM or charge it in Sleep Mode.

You would have to block Internet access on your router I suppose. But I'm not sure of how to go about that.

Is there a standard for full CDN bans? Like using freeshop or playing online on NSP games? I really want to have the game updates(i bought smash) and system too, but now that full cdn is out, i'm kinda scared of losing that

Is there anything that only could be done with dev menu so it would make sense to downgrade to be able to use it? Also which version would i need to downgrade to? Because i read that the gamecardslot was updated with 4.0 so if you downgrade to a firmware <4.0 the slot won’t work anymore.
Also after downgrading it wouldn‘t be possible to boot ofw because of the fuse count right? Only fw that would be possible is 6.0.1 then if you are on 6.1.0 because they have the same fuse count right?

Basically, bans now prevent eShop access, online play, and game updates. If you don't want to get banned, don't hack the console.

The only way DevMenu would work on lower firmwares is if the one for lower firmwares gets dumped. Yes, there are different DevMenus for different firmwares.

I think you misunderstood my post.
I only wanted to ask if there is anything that can only be done via dev menu and not with the other tools/homebrews we have. With that info i can think about if a downgrade would make sense for me or not.

Secound question was : What is the latest version we have dev menu for? Couldn’t find this information on google so i thought i ask here :)

Oops, my bad. Technically, we can do everything DevMenu does, but it involves manually manipulating the NAND which isn't easy; DevMenu automates most of these functions.

DevMenu works on 5.X and I believe 4.X
