The thing is somehow that main folder got deleted from my system (that's an entire different issue) but the payload I used in my backup is also.... gone.... idk how and why bc everything else is still there.

so I cant reinject the payload I used for the hack so I cant turn my switch on bc it "died" on low battery. What the hell can I do, because I tried to just factory reset it with the button combination on the nintendo page but it wont react to that ;w; it only told me that the SD card was removed (which yes true i tried that) and that it will shut off entirely. (i since put the SD card back in but nothing changed)
I also already tried to get the files back onto my system but that also isn't working out.
I don't care that much about the data on the sd card bc it was only one game I was playing I just kinda want to be able to use my switch again ;w;

Can I somehow figure out what payload I need to inject it with? ( I miiiight have tried a wrong one I found on one of my hard drives in hopes it be the right data just in the wrong place..... it was not the right one..... it still says tho that the RCM device is ok )

Luckily, there are only 2 possible payloads you were using: fusee or Hekate. However, its not entirely possible to narrow it down without some troubleshooting so we'll just go with the objectively better payload, Hekate. Download Hekate from its GitHub page and put all of the files except the .bin file onto the SD card. The .bin file is going to be the payload you send via USB but Hekate requires those other files to be present on the card in order for it to work properly.

oh I for sure used a hekate payload sorry I din't know that's important information because I just thought that there are so many different hekate ones out there that it wouldn't narrow it down to just "one" and I would need that specific one I used back then.
So do I just scrap everything thats on the usb and just "start" fresh like I would hack it from the start or would it be enough to just download it from the page and that .bin one will also do fine with injecting as a payload? :)
(also thank you for answering I was getting so stressed I trashed my switch ;w; )

Hey guys can anyone help me with this problem, i just update my firmware to 18.1.0, my atmosphre to 1.7.1, and the latest sighpatches, this error always appear when i boot my nintendo switch, help me guys

Well if you count the different versions of Hekate as different Hekate payloads, your logic isn't entirely amiss. Luckily, Hekate is super smart and saves the latest version in the form of an update.bin on your SD card so no matter what version of Hekate you send, it will use the update.bin on your SD card unless you send a newer version in which case it will update the update.bin file to match the newer one you just sent. Basically, you lose nothing by always sending the latest version of Hekate. So no, I would not recommend starting from scratch and you're welcome. :lol:

Okay do I update the atmosphere first then update the firmware in CFW? Is there any guides for me to follow?

Do I not need update OFW?
Which games will I be able to play rather than if I stay on 14.1.2?

You can update CFW files first, then update firmware with daybreak, you can follow the guide below for how to update, since you have an emunand that is seperated from your OFW, so you don't have to touch that. You will need to check what games require what firmware on your own.

Hey, I'm trying to update my OLED SD setup to the latest CFW and Atmosphere, Hekate, etc. I think I have everything updated but I have Boot.ini and Boot.nat files and I don't recall where there from or what they do. There doesn't seem to be any good guides out there now and the recommended NH Switch Guide doesn't say much past the very basics needed to get things running. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

File based is just as good as partition these days and way easier to backup

Except if corruption happens, then the files for emummc could get corrupted, but as long as you dont use exfat you probably dont have to worry about that
