so you have the bootloader-folder from the hekate-github on your card when you use the loader? because the RCM loader should not use 5.9.0 that is on it, but the 6.0.1 from the SD since that is the newest update. I am too able to boot 6.0.1 from my laptop, but I am also able to boot 6.0.1 with my RCM loader by doing it this way
Yes downloaded hekate now new to test it again but same issue when i do a fresh installation on another sd card. Injection is only working via PC, not via RCM Loader. With Hekate 5.9.0 and RCM Loader there is no issue.

Now i just replaced the bootloader files from Hekate 6.0.1 but using the Hekate 5.9.0 payload to inject via RCM Loader.

That’s the part I think I’m missing. What do you mean that other payloads work? Can you inject an older version of Hekate? Or maybe good old fusee.bin? Does it work on PC? Show some screenshots of it working as well. This could be some new kinda failure we’ve simply not seen yet.

I mean I really do want this to be a software issue for you. Something we can easily undo.
Maybe this will help find a solution.
here are my file location and the contents, perhaps when i updated the firmware, i messed something up:

Here you go, loading via Tegra RCM

Edit: Ok so after multiple testing, I decided I'd try to inject the fusee payload instead of Hekate which I both put in the Hekate and USER2 folder, I first tried USER2 and nothing happened, I then changed it to blue (atmosphere) and it actually loaded up Atmosphere as it should, this is great as I don't mind having it load there, though I would like the option of Hekate, assuming that Atmosphere injects properly, could this be one of the files that is messing up the boot?

You might have one of the bootleg RCM loader, the bootleg one won't update the payload on the dongle.

OH wow haven't thought about that, I mean, I got mine from Aliexpress, but I always go for high orders and good reviews, this is the one :US $11.31 46%OFF | DISOUR Original V5 RCM Loader Auto Clip Jig Tool Dongle Kit Compatible Nintendo Switch NS Compatible Nintendo Accessories
https://a.aliexpress.com/_EyNkyu7

I was about to order a new one before trying to load fusee, I find it interesting that the this issue isn't something I found anywhere, I have a strong suspicion that one of my files is not set up right and that is the reason for the corrupt image, can someone see anything wrong with the files in the pictures I uploaded?

To boot in OFW on a modchipped Switch, we can:
  • Hold Vol + and Vol - while pressing Power
  • On Hekate, click Reboot > OFW
  • On Hekate, click Launch and use a pre-configured option to boot to stock
What are the differences between these methods? I heard that booting straight to OFW without going through hekate can burn fuses and cause problems, is that true? What's the best way to boot to OFW in order to activelly use it?

Yes, booting straight to OFW with an updated FW without a custom bootloader will burn fuses. Otherwise there’s little practical difference. Even if you burn fuses you can still boot via Hekate because it ignores the fuse count process.

You’ve asked a similar variation of the same question before. What are you trying to do and perhaps we can cut to the chase?

Do you have AutoRCM turned on in Hekate?

Check out this guide for some background on what you’re working with:

It sounds like you have AutoRCM enabled. As the name implies, this AUTOmatically boots the console into RCM. As such, you can only move forward from this state which involves sending a payload. If you wish to remove AutoRCM, you can do so from Hekate. Next time, do not follow a video guide from YouTube and use a text based guide such as this one.

You can use QUOTES, SPOILERS and CODE show your data right here on the forum.

It looks like

Contains this on both cards:

Your target card looks like this

The sector is different, which is what I would expect on the new card.

This part is curious:

Code:
F:\SWITHROOT\EMUMMC

| emummc (copy).ini

| emummc.ini

this should be an exact match and it’s not.

Let’s try this:

  1. On your target card, temporarily move(rename) the /emummc folder to /emummc.bk
  2. Copy the /emummc folder from your good card directly to your new card
  3. Boot into Hekate
  4. Go to emuMMC tile on the right
  5. You should see that your emuMMc Info and Selection section says DISABLED.
  6. View attachment 344230
  7. Click Migrate emuMMC button on the bottom right.
  8. Select the FIX RAW button
  9. View attachment 344231
  10. Reboot

Thanks for the help, that didn't end up solving the issue but after fiddling with it for a while, just deleting the contents folder in the emuMMC/Nintendo folder then reinstalling from my NSPs seems to be the best way to go. It could've been a misplaced folder that's been causing me issues, cause the CFW kept saying it didn't see the SD card while I was trying to troubleshoot it a few days prior, even on the old SD, which is why I decided to just clear the emuMMC folder and restore the emuMMC partition backup.

Yeah…that’s one way to do it.

Hi all,
I was using NHSE to save file edit ACNH. When pulling up the new save file via JKSV, the switch crashed with error codes and my hacks are gone.. Apologies, I didn't take a picture of the error codes, but I am wondering if it's safe to reload the hack/fusee. Nothing currently seems wrong with the switch, it's operating as normal. TYIA for any help!

Totally safe to reboot/reload Hekate/Atmosphere.

Get back in there and next time try to take pics if it happens again. Those error numbers are a huge clue as to what’s going on.

Hey brothers.

you know, some time ago, some chaps put up some patches to be able to take photos and video on games that did not allow it. I tried it and it worked flawlessly. It was a folder that was put into the atmosphere contents. Sadly I made some changes on the SD and I can't find it anymore. Could someboyd please, point me in the right direction? It was not Bitmap printer, they where some patches that allow the user to capture video on any game.

Thanks in advance, brothers.

I think it might be the sys-dvr patches here:

Indeed it is!!

It works now again. Problem was that is a folder that goes immediatly on atmosphere folder, not on contents, so I must have lose it when I fresh installed atmos.

Thank you Binkinator, and uhhh, my birthday is in a couple months... I hope you take it easy on me, even if you have a sore throat :rofl2:
