There is no reason to believe that a certain brand will not work. Samsungo Evo are recommended by many. I use a SanDisk. When you get your microSD card in, verify the size with h2testw (Google it to find it). If a card seems too cheap to be real, it is.

I also asked about updates for Xci/nsp and DLC if Brawler or 90DSN is blocking Nintendo servers. How are those handled if need to run entertainment.
What about XCI/NSP updates and DLC? If you're using CFW, you will get banned if you connect to Nintendo servers. You will NOT be getting game updates from Nintendo. 90DNS blocks everything that needs to go through Nintendo servers. For specific applications, search this site or Google.

I feel like you sourced your information from a YouTube video. Those are the worst place to get information from. If you need more, real-time help, then join HBG's discord.

1. I have never known a microSD card that wasn't defective to not work with a microSD reader. Plain and simple. When you get one in, as I said, check to make sure it's legit size and not defective with h2testw. Then use GUIFormat to format it to FAT32. NOT EXFAT.

2. Why wouldn't you be installing the game with the latest update? Some DLC for some games are unlockers, and require a certain version (or newer) of the game. Installing games with their latest updates solves this issue.

3. Incognito works just fine with hbg-shop. THere is a fork that is more user-friendly.

This isn't HBG-Support. I am not going to comment on your random friend's HBG-Shop experience, because I don't know their setup. Here's a hint: If you get fast speeds from Google Drive, you'll get fast speeds from HBG-Shop. As for what is on their shop, ask them.

Okay, I honestly have no idea what you are talking about you lost me at editing the serial # on the systems OS. I'm a total noob when it comes to this Switch stuff. Would it be possible to get help from you or someone willing to help me with installing the CFW and other things needed after I get the system in a few days? I have a discord account if talking there would be better then here. With all this complicated information I'm worried about bricking the systems if that is possible if something went wrong while doing the mod.

Hey guys, i'm having some problems when trying to install updates from their NPS files. When i launch the games without the updates there are no problems, however when I install the update a get the following error: "the software was closed because an error occured". I am on 8.0.1 and using the most up to date atmosphere version. I have tried clean installing, changing between exFAT and FAT32 etc. I am wondering if anyone knows how to fix this?

If I can't hack it is Checkpoint still useable to Decrypt/inject save into OFW. Found a save editor and a couple of saves for BOTW just thought I would ask if is possible to Edit saves without CFW.

Nope there is no way to inject save at the moment if it is patched unit.

You can either remove your atmosphere files and move ReiNX files back in, and inject it's payload, install incgonito and reverse the process; or you can install both just by moving both CFW files into the SD card, and when you boot into RCM inject the recquired payload to launch the one you want.

Currently on 7.0 and had no reason to update. But "Timespinner" is coming out 6/4 and im sure it will require 8.0. So just tryna be proactive here.

You wouldn't be able to tell if you gonna have games that doesn't work in 8.0.x firmware, solution is just to update your sig patches and reinstall the games if needed.

They shouldn't ask you to connect to the internet (except if it is an online game, obvioulsy). Make sure you have the latest sigpatches installed if you use Atmosphere. If you haven't installed sigpatches yet, do it, and reinstall the games after.

Just unzip the content in the root of your SD. It will merge with your atmosphere files. Nothing else needs to be done, other than reinstalling the games.

How are you installing them? If the answer is Goldleaf, try installing them with Adubbz Tinfoil which you can find on sdsetup.com. And what CFW are you using? If Atmosphere/Kosmos, try booting the game in ReiNX to see if the issue persists.

Considering I have never seen that serial number before, who knows if it is patched or not. Might just be easier to find a unit with a definitively patched/unpatched serial number.

So, i own a 7.01 (OFW) switch which is banned. Is there still any point in creating/using emunand? from my point of view that would only make sense for unbanned units. no?
