Is it possible to manually update to 4.1.0 rather than 5? Is there a way to access eshop right now without going to version 5 ?

There may be a game cartridge that has a 4.1.0 update on it however I don't believe anyone is aware of one yet.
There is no way to access the eShop without the latest firmware

I had auto updates turned off on 4.1. My switch downloaded the update but didn't install it.

Now whenever I attempt to load a game it prompts me to update.

Is there a way to remove this so I don't update by accident?

turn off your switch by holding the power button for 5 seconds, then hold the volume buttons + and - and turn on your switch. It'll enter the recovery menu. Now, restart your switch and you'll be fine. Disconnect every network or turn on flight mode

How about not Going into the Settings and updating it?
Im fine when it keeps says "A system Update is avaible"

you can do that too, but it will pop up every time you turn on the switch and every time you want to play a game

Im not using my switch so often cuz i wait for the CFW and i got alot of games to play on the 3ds
I only play it when my cousin comes and he wants to play Mario Kart against me (i win everytime)

But hey CFW is more important for me

Yep just realised that after I attempted to update Mario
Thankfully it fails, so the update block is working

No, it was the program used to access YT, it's no longer used due to the use of the social applet to watch videos.
It's impossible to access the eshop without updating.

Yes. But only by obtaining the updates from someone else.

Interesting.
I'm not too annoyed though. Hopefully, any upcoming 4.1.0 hack could let me install game updates, wimilar to WUP installer on WiiU.
