Hello, I am working on modding my Switch lite, and it appears that one of the ribbon cable pins is messed up, and I am unable to see the display unless I shine a flashlight up to the screen. It powers on and works fine, but I don't think the backlight is receiving power due to the pin. I got a replacement ribbon cable already, but am unsure if that is what is needed to fix this. The right most pin looks a bit blackened if you look closely at the picture. This is odd because the console's display was fine just a few hours ago. I'm wondering if the cable got loose or something. If anyone knows if this is fixable, or if there is another option, any advice would be appreciated.

Probably can
You might try inspecting the daughter board that houses the left joycon inputs to ensure that it isnt damaged . It also houses the components for screen backlighting on the switch lite . Found that out when my Left analog decided it wouldn't register vertical movement anymore and decided to replace it .
