How does this work exactly? I was trying to setup several DLCs to ignore (unreleased Smash DLCs). This setting works fine with only one ID, but as soon as I add another, the settings file resets to default and adds a random ID I don't even know in that ignore ID space.

What's the correct settings layout to ignore more than one ID?

Code:
 "ignore_dlc_title_ids": [
  "title_id1",
  "title_id2",
  "title_id3"
 ]

Don't forget the comma after each "title_id". The last one doesn't need the comma
So I tried what you suggested and added 18 title IDs to ignore, but again the manager and settings file reset themselves and it adds a random ID that I didn't even put there. See pic attached. I can't add more than one ID to my ignore list. Everytime I tried that, I have to change all my settings again and set a new folder etc.

EDIT: Now it worked. I deleted the whole folder and restarted from scratch. I guess some settings were messed up.

Last edited by demonXcore,
got some error with some recent game update :
failed to read NSP [reason: missing Key_area_key[key_area_key_application_0c]]

got this error with metroid dread and mario party superstars update

I fix titledb errors as they are reported. The main problem here is what constitutes an "error", many people think a title that is incorrectly named in some fashion is a titledb error, when this is in fact exactly how nintendo reports it. titledb will not deviate from what nintendo reports, even if it appears wrong to some people.

i dont talk about incorrect naming but update or dlc that don exist or refering to wrong version of a game

more and more error in update and dlc files

failed to read NSP [reason: missing Key_area_key[key_area_key_application_0c]]

i guess firmware 13.0 introduced some new thing

Is this tool still further developed? maybe forked by anyone?
Reason why i´m asking is: i have lots of updates with missing base files (consuming a lot of space). what would be nice: an option to delete updates in case the base file is missing.
Or does anyone now a similar tool that would handle such a task?

Switch Library Manager seems to have stopped reporting DLCs that have updates available, it still reports missing DLCs but not any updates that may exist for the base DLC file that you already have.

Maybe something has changed in blawar's titledb where this tool gets its data from... ?

I believe the us dB has changed in some way because it's updated so frequently and was becoming too big
It seems like so.
Anyway, blawar has somehow fixed the issue by performing some type of ''hard refresh'' but warned that the files that SLM is using have been deprecated in favor of a newer type and SLM should use those instead to avoid any problems in the future.

Wondering if anyone is able to fix the JavaScript error that has been reported before? It says Error: read ECONNRESET

I used this program frequently a few years ago and finally decided to update my switch collection and when running it I get that errorall the time. Funny enough, sometimes if I do the root folder it works, sometimes not. If I break up the games into sub folders it fails. I dunno how to replicate the problem nor fix it. Any help would be great!

Maybe some bad files in your search directory? Try simplifying it to just a few games in one directory and see if that works. Add more games until it breaks again. Check the last set of games you added before it broke For odd characters and the like.

ECONNRESET seems a common error and has been discussed on github several times like here https://github.com/giwty/switch-library-manager/issues/74

Seems related to the directory/path or corrupt files.
Try to avoid long paths and long file names and don't use anything other than common used letters and numbers on those.
Also make sure you are connected to the internet so that SLM can grab the latest files.
You will also need to have the latest prod.keys in place (doesn't come with SLM and you need to find it yourself)

For resetting SLM and starting over, aside from deleting the SLM folder, you should also delete the folder that SLM auto-creates at C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Switch Library Manager (you need to enable the show hidden folders on the windows folder view options to see the AppData folder).

Unfortunately the original Dev hasn’t been here in a while so you’ll need to fork it to fix. Weird things happen w/ -KLAUS- as well.
