Dude, I honestly can't tell if you lucked out with your patched unit or not considering how many people have gotten similar serial numbers but the exploit still works!

In the past week, I did went out to check a few other local shops.
And I had not come across 70043xxxxx at all. Some were 7003, some were 70041
So I was (UN)lucky...

Haven't seen any reports from the 4 production line having patched units yet (by 4 production line, I mean the 4 after the J). However, that doesn't mean its impossible.

I just got an red / blue XAW10079 from Amazon (ordered yesterday). Can anyone confirm if this should be good? I see that some people have had success hacking a 1008 model but those are all gray models.

I won't be able to open the Switch until Friday, so any news would be great.

You should buy a jig from online store or SX OS pro and try again. You cannot enter RCM because your jig does not touch the 9-10 or 1-10 pin.
