Nobody wants the most powerful console but everybody wants a powerful console that is competitive, instead of two generations behind. Lame hardware means no 3rd party support means dead. And the Switch costs 100$ more than the multiple times faster PS4. Imagine how great Zelda would look an play in 4K 60FPS with everything enhanced.
The Switch is a bad mobile system because it is too large and too big and the battery time is a joke. It is also a bad home console because it cannot even render Wii-U ports in 1080p and good modern graphics. All ports will look ugly and people will buy the cheaper and faster, better looking 4K PS4 version and that is a problem, unless they release a mobile Switch mini with a battery that lasts at least 6 hours.
Why can't Nintendo make good and competitive hardware anymore, even the Gamecube had more power and better graphics than the PS2.
