I've just gotten a new Nintendo switch and my first switch in liu of actually being to get one and the signs of an actual working modchip.

I have noticed a few things when preparing for some future mods.

Everyone has changed thermal paste and removed the shim but why has no one used a dremel and add actual intake holes to a 3rd party backplate. You could add some clean ones easily.

I would actually like to see how big the temp gain would be on switch with that included and a heavy load since currently all the fan does is push hot air out it doesn't draw in.

Now on the note of the new mariko modchip,
I'm curious how if we can push the overclocking more on the new soc since it uses a 16nm process and according to specs the gpu is also clocked at a higher max speed by around 250mhz.

There wouldn’t be a difference, there aren’t really any issues with the intake or even the entire cooling system in general really

>could we overclock further on Mariko.
In Linux, yes. In Horizon, no.
