Hi, so I got a heavily faulty switch which I have slowly worked through its issues, I thought I was getting close to fixing it but now I have two new issues!
Firstly when I plug it in the fan comes on and on full speed? I read it could be the temp sensor next to the backlight, I swapped with another but have the same issues, not sure if it was swapped for another faulty? Doubtful though!
Second issue is the touch screen doesn't work, I know this is linked to the cart reader, I have tried another cart reader but I also know it might be a different version? I have also used another shell with a known working touchscreen and it still doesn't work.
Is there something on the cart reader that I can try and test?
The cart reader reads/loads games.
