My switch crashes whenever I use Homebrew.
Im on 7.0.1 with latest payloads, Exfat MC etc.
The Brew will start ok then after about 30 seconds it goes to the Atmosphere crash screen where you can use vol buttons to restart etc.
Does anyone know why this may happen, Games all work fine etc it is just homebrew that causes it.

Any ideas would be great i am running out of them lol

Is your sd card exFat or Fat32? Homebrew apps crash in exFat your best option is to use Fat32 if you want to use homebrew.

Reformat your SD card to fat 32 with guiformat.
Afterwards get the latest atmosphere with signature patches from sdsetup.com
exFAT tends to cause a lot of issues with homebrew so don't use it.

So it seems it may be my switch as i tried a new mc on fat32 and it still crashes. Would a full restore work?

Has anyone else had this issue at all? I just wanna play some dreamcast lol

To play Dreamcast you need to hold R and start a switch game. Instead of the game starting it will take you to homebrew menu. From there launch Reicast. It's not your sd card it's going to crash if you don't do it this way.

Iv tried that but it just starts the game, Holding R on the Album works but not on games. I must be the dumbest person ever to not be able to do this lol

Are you sure you're not holding ZR instead of R? Atmosphere holding R on a game should take you to homebrew menu. Unless you're on a really old version of Atmosphere.
