I just installed this and it downloads the cheats fine with no errors but everytime i try to load the cheats it comes up with a "Error Parsing cheats file"
Parsing error is originated in the text cheat, you have to manually correct the codes, could be an extra space or extra 0 . Let me know what game are you trying to cheat, I’ll check the codes for you if there’s an issue.

This was working fine for me until I updated my Switch to the latest firmware and Animal Crossing to the latest version. Updated the cheat files using the app and deleted the previous just in case-still not working. None of my games now have any cheats when I select the "cheats" tab on SXOS (they did before)

Any ideas why?

Did you use the delete function on the app? If you deleted it that way, it deletes all cheats.

I have no idea whats happened. This was working fine before the Switch updated. Now, when I click on Cheats with SXOS after updating using the app, it says I need to download an updated version of the cheats, but when I look at them they are blatantly old ones. Ive deleted all cheat files from my SD, even deleted and reinstalled the app, yet its not working :(

Did you also update your CFW to go along with your switch update?

Yeah, my SXOS is fully up to date too. I had a little play around on the SD after I deleted and then re downloaded all the cheat files on the app, and in my ACNH cheat folder, for example, I found numerous cheats within. The one I had used before the game update was there (contained all museum paintings), so I renamed it with the name of the top cheat name and deleted the rest. When the game was launch and SXOS cheat tab selected, it said the cheat files weren't the latest version and would I like to rename them etc. Selected "yes"-and they now work. Weird

In atmosphere/system-settings.ini (I think it's here), make sure that enabling cheats by default is at 0

Code:
; Controls whether dmnt cheats should be toggled on or off by
; default. 1 = toggled on by default, 0 = toggled off by default.
dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Once again, don't really know why because I don't use sxos. Message me @Simple#8155 on discord if you want to try to figure it out with me

I am on 10.0.1 and also sxos 2.95 and have the same error with the most current version of the updater. if you still need some one to figure it out with you i can contact you on discord

I love this app but I have a ton of games on my SD card and have trouble figuring out which games have cheats and which don't.

I appreciate that we can push b to see cheats for installed titles but it only shows me the bottom of the list.

Is there any way to scroll up and see the rest of my installed titles? If not could you please implement one.

Bayonetta was working fine before the last updated. Now, when I click on Cheats tha halos and magic are missing.

Before 37096
  • Inf Halos
  • Inf. Magic
  • Inf. Jumps
now are 0000 halos...¡?????

Just updated the software and tried updating the cheats. It did recognize three IDs, but it only showed the name of Binding of Isaac. It didn't show any titles for the other two games and failed to exclude them too.
I'm going to try and fiddle with them a bit and see if I can solve it.
Thank you!

Edit: Not sure if I'm inserting the pictures correctly, but just took a couple pictures after updating again. It fails to detect both Animal Crossing and Digimon, but when updating them it does pick the names (and updates them).
got the same issue, in my case only show the Title Name and TID from the last TID in exclude.txt, the other two doesn't show TID and title name, but show there are three games on the blacklist

I'm not sure but this might be related to line breaks.
For instance, if you use FileZilla to transfer exclude.txt from your PC to the Switch, and “Transfer type” is set to ‘Auto’ instead of ‘Binary,’ then line feeds are converted to line feeds plus carriage returns. This app seems to misbehave when line feed and carriage return are used instead of line feed only. Perhaps Homlet could tell us more, even though I'm pretty sure this wasn't intentional.
If you use Windows, then the default line break character is line feed plus carriage return. The usual way to fix this is install Notepad++, set line breaks to line feeds and open the file. Don't know if you can avoid installing an external program.
For more infos on how to use Notepad++, take a look at this: https://github.com/Lord-Akkrand/Sky...Installing-Mods#configuring-your-plugins-file
You only need steps 3 (to open the file with Notepad++) and 4 (to set line breaks to line feed).
