Hacking Switch Bricked, BIS Keys not matching

A friend brought over his Switch for me to take a look at, it wouldn't boot beyond a black screen, so I assumed it was updated and proceeded to update Atmosphere.

After updating Atmosphere it started to hang on the Nintendo Switch logo, I assumed it was bricked somehow and proceeded to follow

that guide, but reaching Step 9, the keys I derived using the site all FAIL on HacDiskMount.

Attempting to skip the rest of the steps and boot with the Hekate custom file just leaves it at a black screen.

Updating Atmosphere would not brick the console.
