So we're not allowed to ask questions anymore? Not to mention you referred the person to GOOGLE, not to any specific thread about this subject. So if you're not going to help, just ignore the thread
Stop feeding drama into every thread you reply to.

You know that ignore button works for you too right.

You're not a mod!

If you dont like what you see being posted by anonymous people on the internet and you let yourself get worked up so easily maybe you should stay offline.

Just report the post, ignore the user and move on. Good hell I'd hate to see your responses on facebook or other social media.

Long time lurker first time poster. I've seen many posts recently by @Ashura66 where this user gets upset at every reply if it's even the least bit critical. This is the internet. Learn to let things roll like water off a duck's back. Not everyone is helpful and many people feel the need to be mean just because they are anonymous. You can't let yourself get upset so easily and replying to them just "feeds the trolls".

I was never mean. I made a joke in a sort of "olive branch" effort to this user and instead of laughing or being cool about it he got even more pissed. Whatever. Can't take a joke and pretends to give advice on issues he knows nothing about.

Right so i guess you must have missed the posts where i'm almost being attacked and insulted right? If you're not going to be helpful simply don't post, it's as simple as that

tinfoil ftw

The only issue with foil is that it doesn't secure in place firmly(unless you tape it down of course) so when sliding the joycon back in place it can move a bit

You were telling people that there is absolutely no risk in using foil in your switch. This has already been proven incorrect. Just search the first two pages of threads and you'll find plenty of users that can't even use their joycon's correctly after trying this. Plus anyone with even a basic knowledge of electronic components would balk at using foil as a conductor for shorting pins. I'd never recommend something like that for people starting out with switch hacking

I never said NO RISKS, i said LESS RISKS than using something that can break your pins completely. And not being able to use joycons? Yeah just re set/resync them and they will be FINE. I have done a TON of research on this method on several different places. Everyone that uses guarantees that it is the method that has the less risks. I myself have used it since i started hacking my Switch and i have had ZERO issues with it, i'm talking from personal experience. So why WOULDN'T i recommend something that has worked near flawlessly for me?
