I have a Switch V1 and use VenomNX Overclocking. i boost the CPu up to 1900mhz or 2100mhz. For GPU while it usually sits below 50% utilized you want it around 700mhz or higher, and Ram at 1600 which seems to be a decent configuration, also to limit heat have battery at 100% and charging.

For V1 1750 is a decent OC thats safe with 1900-2100 being the last “safe” Oc settings before getting into heavy OCs. Charger recommended. If it stays below 54-55C youre fine, if it goes above 58-59C repaste switch, clean vents, have in cooler ambient environment. Or go down clocks

For switch lite youll get better OCing experience and boost higher but just need a charger.
Both V1 and Lite recommended to use charger
sorry to ask but how did you add lossless.dll?

The main difference is that Tico uses the RetroArch core, while this port is based on the standalone version of Dolphin
Dan and i are working together to improve both ports :yay:

Tbh its less issues with ram (you can OC it tho with 1600 being good area (official docked frequency), but Ram OC can corrupt Nand or something when going over 1600 but its ram specific and theres guides
But moreso with CPU, overclocking CPU will help you get better performance overall in your ventures,
Particularly with ps2.

My recommendation for base OC is with a charger, 1750mhz on CPU, 700+mhz on GPU and 1600 on Ram, then adjusting based on reources used or temperature. Like if GPU underutilized you can drop it lower
My current OC is 1900-2100mhz on CPU with 700mhz on GPU and 1600MHz on ram and keeps temps under 53-54C and i have started undervolting such to fine tune it

Ram does help tho, its just diminishing returns and not understanding the library for wii is larger then rom set they desire.
Others have done 8gb Ram mods and gained some performance weather due to spec of ram or whatever, idk.

Dolphin — Nintendo Switch

A native Nintendo Switch port of the standalone Dolphin emulator, featuring an all-in-one SDL
launcher with cover artwork, per-game settings, controller configuration, save and NAND tools,
RetroAchievements, and a Vulkan/NVK renderer.

  • Global and per-game enablement, flow-resolution control, and performance mode
  • Runtime enable/disable control from the in-game overlay
  • Native 50/60 FPS detection automatically bypasses frame generation so full-rate games are not
    slowed to 30 FPS
LSFG is optional and disabled by default. It requires a user-supplied compatible
Lossless.dll in sdmc:/switch/dolphin/lsfg/Lossless.dll

In-game overlay

Hold L + R + Plus while playing to open the quick menu.

  • Pause and resume emulation
  • Save and load states
  • Eject or change the emulated disc
  • Enable or disable Action Replay and Gecko cheats

After some attempts, only hard drives formatted in exFAT seem to be recognized on my system; those in NTFS and FAT32 don't seem to want to be recognized. I should mention that all the other hard drives work perfectly. I don't know the exact cause, but it doesn't seem to want to recognize anything other than exFAT, unless I'm the only one experiencing this.
