Every time I load an .iso patched game on Swiss, it gives me the "An error occured, please turn off the gamecube" screen. I'm using an actual gamecube running off an SD gecko (the max console one that only works with micro SD) and running the games off exfat. I got it to work before back when it was on FAT32...

And here's another thing, unless I'm lucky, I keep having to eject and reload the slot b micro sd gecko, otherwise it doesn't show the banner for most of the games on the menu and then whenever I try to load it it says "invalid or corrupt file". It might be a problem with the sd gecko.

Try a different SD card?
Not entirely sure this is the whole answer, but it was completely fixed after I replaced the .iso files. Something may have happened to them. But after playing for awhile and then copying a few new games onto my micro sd, it seemed to have happened again, at least to some extent.
