Hardware Swapping to V2 motherboard?

If I remember correctly, you cant swap a switch motherboard because it wouldnt boot, so what are everyone's thoughts on this?

The motherboard contains everything, RAM, EMMC, etc.. putting a v2 motherboard in your case will absolutely work. With that being said, I have no idea where you are going to find a V2 motherboard in working condition...

'Twas more like keeping the original emmc module I was interested in, which i thought doesnt work...

you can´t swap emmc modules between consoles. You have to restore a nand backup taken from the new console and flash it onto the emmc chip
