You just put the DSi firmware instead of the DS Lite bricked firmware and you run a firmware dumper instead of FlashMe.

No I meant popping out the BIOS while it's still on! lol It might need a new dumper written for the DSi BIOS depending on how the dumper works. If it just grabs x amount of data starting at a certain address it might only be a partial dump, if it has the ability to check the size of the BIOS and grab that amount of data it would work perfectly though if you can hotswap the BIOS.

Seriously guys, Nintendo ISN'T this stupid. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work anyway.
And ok, let's hypothize it would work (and it wouldn't for something like thousand different reasons, and I'm not going to explain them).
You now have a DSi which works like a DS. Whoa awesome aaand... DSi mode is now unreachable. Nice

correct. there are 30 pins on the DS Lite's firmware module, and 50 pins on the module for the DSi

additionally, the fix is only to correct a bricked ds lite which occurred while trying to flash me the ds lite. the ds lite loads the boot strap code in the bios to boot up the system and copies the contents into ram. after that point, you're free to un-plug the module and replace it with the one that was borked and then re-attempt to flash me (or un-flash me the bios).

If I'm correct, the WiFi card is in the same BIOS Chip. just look at the DS Lite BIOS, it has a cable connector which is the Wireless connector.
