How do you start in safe mode? I don't know that, I guess!Try starting svdt in safe mode!

Emergency mode? I didn't hear it! Tell me more about that! He's referring to emergency mode, not safe mode.
From svdt github :But Emergency mode doesn't let import edited save files as far as I know

Gonna try that mode thenFrom svdt github :
Since some games don't handle gfxInitDefault() well for some reason (Animal Crossing: New Leaf is a prominent example), svdt has some emergency operations available for all games. Since the homebrew launcher doesn't care about the L/R shoulder buttons, these are ideal for binding to functions that need to be executed before the application gets to gfxInitDefault().
When svdt starts up, it checks for whether the target game is on a gamecard or the SD card.
- svdt automatically backs up all save data at startup into a time-stamped folder in the SD card (ex. sd:/svdt/Cubic Ninja/20151021_060942/). Hold down the left shoulder button while starting svdt to skip this.
- Hold down the right shoulder button while starting svdt to dump the contents of sd:/svdt_inject/ into the target save data. If no directory named svdt_inject exists in the SD root, nothing is attempted.
- If the target is a gamecard, svdt automatically fetches the game title (the short English title in exeFS:/icon).
- If the target is a digital game, svdt asks you to pick the game title from a list of all titles on the device. This is because at present, svdt does not have an automatic way to fetch the title ID. Use left/right buttons on the D-pad to browse through the title list, and press A to select a title. (You can also press B to skip this step.)
It does, but only one at a time: put a save in sd:/svdt_inject/ and hold R at boot. But Emergency mode doesn't let import edited save files as far as I know
Yes.I have 500+ hours of progress in Animal Crossing that I do not wish to lose. Could I use this application to backup my save data and upload it to a different cartridge in the case that my original cartridge gets lost or damaged?

Nope, doesn't work for me...It does, but only one at a time: put a save in sd:/svdt_inject/ and hold R at boot.
Svdt will copy all the contents of the folder to the save, just like savemanager B button, so only have the save you want to restore in the folder.
Well, not all games are working, even with "emergency mode".Nope, doesn't work for me...

Yeah I Know, but it obviously work on at least N3DS cause many players on MH4U use this method. Whelp,I'll probably just let this go away..Well, not all games are working, even with "emergency mode".
Yes, you're right... Apparently, N3DS doesn't have problems with that, but always there is an exception!Yeah I Know, but it obviously work on at least N3DS cause many players on MH4U use this method. Whelp,I'll probably just let this go away..

Figured out how to manage that. Thanks anyway.Yes, you're right... Apparently, N3DS doesn't have problems with that, but always there is an exception!
Well, let us to know!Figured out how to manage that. Thanks anyway.
PM me. I don't want it completely public yet. Increases the chance of a patch. And I don't have every detail yet. But I have most of them.
Count me in as well!I'd like it, too!
I've been having trouble with this, any help would be much appreciated. Firstly, holding a shoulder button while svdt boots doesn't seem to do anything different. Second, what's the difference between "emergency" saves and "interactive" saves? Lastly, from what I gather, anti-savegame restore titles can only be used with "emergency mode." If so, how do access and use emergency mode?
