    The SuperCard DSonei is a Slot-1 flashcart solution, made by <a href="http://eng.supercard.sc/" target="_blank">the SuperCard team</a>. It's exactly the same as the SuperCard DSone, but made to work with the DSi. However, it can only use the DSi's DS mode, because DSi mode hasn't been hacked (yet). After the DSi's 1.4 Firmware update, it was blocked by Nintendo to make sure it didn't work, but thanks to a 'Firmware Writer' included in the package, team SuperCard got it working again by changing the cart's header to the header of Star Wars Lethal Alliance. This makes the cart show up in the DS/DSi menu as if it actually is Star Wars Lethal Alliance.
    Recently, it got a <a href="http://eng.supercard.sc/manual/dsone/evolution/" target="_blank">OS update</a>, as did the DSone and the DSone SDHC. The new Operating System (called the Evolution Operating System, or EOS) is a major improvement on the old OS, which was based on Moonshell. Because of that, with the old OS you could play music and DPG videos, show pictures, read text files, etc. Now you can't do that anymore, you can only load ROMs.

    Not only does the DSonei support the old OS and the Evolution OS, it also supports TTMenu (the operating system of the DSTT flashcart) and YSMenu (an alternative menu for the DSTT, made by Yasu). Installing them is easy, and the best thing is: you can have all of them on your card at the same time!
    So, first of all, you'll have to download the <a href="http://filetrip.net/ajax.php?action=download&id=9030" target="_blank">TTMenu and YSMenu files</a>. In the file are included: the TTMenu system files, the YSMenu system files and Moonshell 2.06 (with the ability to load commmercial ROMs). Extract the file to the root of your microSD card. That's all you have to do! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Now boot up your DSonei and look at the main menu. Somewhere on the bottom of the files list will be a file called 'TTMENU.NDS', a file called 'YSMENU.NDS' and a file called 'Moonshell2.NDS'. Obviously, when you load one of these files it will load the TTMenu, YSMenu or Moonshell2 respectively. TTMenu will make a list of all games immediately, YSMenu and Moonshell2 will let you browse the folders on your card and find the game you want to play.

    <!--coloro:#0000FF--><span style="color:#0000FF"><!--/coloro--><!--sizeo:4--><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->Using one of these OS's as your main OS<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--><!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->

    You can use any of these OS's as your main OS, by a very simple renaming trick. If you rename the .NDS file of the OS you want (in this case, I'll use YSMenu as an example) to SCFW.SC, and rename the original SCFW.SC to anything else (this can be SCFW2.SC, or SCFW.NDS if you still want to be able to boot into the EOS, or something else, it's up to you to see what fits best in your situation), your DSONEi will boot in that OS (so in this case it will boot in YSMenu) when you load it from the DS(i) Menu.

    <!--sizeo:5--><span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->ROM compatibility<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->

    As stated in the Features lists, the ROM compatibility is near 100%. Most of the times, games can already be played on a SuperCard before any other card, before even any kind of patch is released. This is because of the way you can run games, in clean or in patch mode, and because of the save size you can set for the games.

    <!--sizeo:5--><span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->Homebrew compatibility<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->

    The DSonei's homebrew compatibility is excellent, almost every homebrew works, whether its filesize is small or large.

    <!--sizeo:5--><span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->Evolution OS FAQ<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->

    Taken from <a href="http://eng.supercard.sc/manual/dsone/evolution/faq.htm" target="_blank">here</a>. Edited here and there.<ul><li><i>Why does the message "No Find English/Chinese/Japanese Ver.!" appear?</i>
    That means the OS is not an English/Chinese/Japanese version. Please download <a href="http://eng.supercard.sc/" target="_blank">English</a>/<a href="http://www.supercard.sc/" target="_blank">Chinese</a>/<a href="http://jp.supercard.sc/" target="_blank">Japanese</a> version OS. Eg if you have a Chinese DSonei, you have to download the Chinese OS for the DSonei.</li></ul><ul><li><i>Can I use the saves of old SuperCard product?</i>
    Sure, and very easy. Just rename the save file as the same filename of the nds game and put them in a same folder, e.g. if your game is 123.nds, then rename the save file as 123.sav.</li></ul><ul><li><i>Can I use SuperCard DSonei with a DSiLL?</i>
    Sure. SuperCard DSonei works perfectly with all NDS/NDSL/IDS/IDSL/NDSi/NDSiLL</li></ul><ul><li><i>What file format does Real time game guide support?</i>
    Support txt directly.</li></ul><ul><li><i>I want to share one game with family, can I have multi save?</i>
    Yes, Evolution support multi real time save and multi normal save.</li></ul><ul><li><i>What's the function of DSonei EOS slow motion?</i>
    Slow motion can slow down the game speed, it's easy to play certain action games.</li></ul><ul><li><i>What file format support with DSonei EOS e-book and picture function?</i>
    e-book support TXT, PDF format. Picture support BMP, JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIF, GIF.</li></ul><ul><li><i>Where can I get the cheats?</i>
    <a href="http://cheats.gbatemp.net/Temp" target="_blank">This site</a> is very good. Download the USRCHEAT.DAT file.</li></ul><ul><li><i>Where should I put my cheat file?</i>
    Put the USRCHEAT.DAT file under /_dsone/</li></ul><ul><li><i>Why can't I run certain games under English OS?</i>
    Please rename the filename as English characters.</li></ul><ul><li><i>Why can't I use some cheats?</i>
    Please check:<ul><li>Make sure you play games with patch mode, not clean mode.</li><li>Must turn on cheat function.</li><li>Maybe flashcart doesn't support that code</li></ul></li></ul><!--sizeo:5--><span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->How to update the OS (operating system)<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->

    First, download <a href="http://filetrip.net/file.php?id=11631" target="_blank">this file</a> if you have an English DSonei, or <a href="http://filetrip.net/f11632-DSONE(i)-Evolution-(chs)-SP3.html" target="_blank">this file</a> if you have a Chinese DSonei. Extract it using a program like WinRAR. Inside will be a folder called ''en'' or ''chs''. Open the folder. Copy the files inside it to the root of your microSD card. Finished. That was easy now, wasn't it?

    <!--sizeo:5--><span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->How to update the fireware<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->

    If you update your DSi to the 1.4 firmware, you will notice the DSonei doesn't work anymore. Don't worry though, because that's what you got that handy-dandy firmware writer for.
    First, you will need to download <a href="http://filetrip.net/f6196-Supercard-DSOnei-Firmware-1-1.html" target="_blank">this file</a>. Extract it using a program like WinRAR. Then, put the extracted file (updateen.bin) on the root of your microSD card. Put the microSD card in the DSonei, then put the DSonei in the firmware writer. Put the firmware writer in a powered USB port (this can be a computer's USB port, a USB charger, etc). You'll see a light flashing. This means the fireware is being updated. DO NOT remove the firmware writer from the USB port during this time, because you might risk bricking your card. This process takes about 8 minutes, it depends on the speed of your microSD card. When you see a green light, that means the updating is done, and you can safely remove the firmware writer from the USB port. However, it could be that you just see a red light, this means that the updating process has failed. Try it again until it works. Now, when you put the DSonei in your DS/DSi and turn it on, you won't see the SuperCard logo anymore, but you'll see ''Star Wars Lethal Alliance'' instead. Don't worry, it's still your DSonei, but with the header of the Star Wars Lethal Alliance game.

    <!--sizeo:5--><span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->How to add skins without using a computer<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->

    Want to change skins, but your computer is nowhere to be found?

    <!--coloro:#0000FF--><span style="color:#0000FF"><!--/coloro--><!--sizeo:4--><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->Old OS<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--><!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->

    Try <a href="http://filetrip.net/f4486-SkinUP-1-0.html" target="_blank">skinUP</a>, a homebrew application that allows you to download a bunch of skins over Wi-Fi. There's more than 400 skins in the database already.

    <!--coloro:#0000FF--><span style="color:#0000FF"><!--/coloro--><!--sizeo:4--><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->Evolution OS<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--><!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->

    Try <a href="http://fr.supercard.sc/forum/download/file.php?id=902&sid=5f6f8147c727b24614c1d651e0466e22" target="_blank">EskinUP</a>, a homebrew application for the Evolution OS that allows you to download a bunch of skins over Wi-Fi.

    <!--sizeo:5--><span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->How to use the RTG<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->

    You can put the game guide in either the 'book' folder inside the '_dsone' folder, or you can put it in the same folder as the game the guide is for. If you want to put the guide in the book folder it has to have the number of the ROM as the filename; if you want to put the guide in the same folder as the ROM you must give it the same filename as the ROM. You can't put the guide in any other folder than the book folder or the folder of your ROM, or it won't work.

    <!--sizeo:5--><span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->Separately updatable files<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->

    <!--coloro:#0000FF--><span style="color:#0000FF"><!--/coloro--><!--sizeo:4--><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->ndspatch.dat (old OS) / ds1patch.dat (new OS)<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--><!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->

    Put simply, these files contain every kind of patch/fix a game needs in order to work on the DSONE(i). If a newly released game doesn't work on your card, look around if someone has an updated ndspatch.dat or ds1patch.dat (depending on which OS you use) and copy that directly to the scshell folder (for the old OS) or the _dsone folder (for the EOS).

    <!--coloro:#0000FF--><span style="color:#0000FF"><!--/coloro--><!--sizeo:4--><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->ndsinfo.dat<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--><!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->

    This file, used by both the old OS and the EOS, contains all info about the ROMs. That means: it contains the ROM number, game name, save size to use, etc. If you want to be able to use cheats on the latest games, you'll need the last updated cheat database and ndsinfo.dat. Otherwise it is not really necessary to update ndsinfo.dat.

    I just copied the wiki page I made and changed the wiki code in BBcode. There's still more people that visit the site than there is people that visit the wiki.

    How can I have EOS and the old OS on the same cart? Can I boot the old OS with EOS?

    Definitely! [IMG] Just put all files you need for the old OS and all files you need for the EOS on the card and it'll work like a charm! There's no need to remove anything at all! [IMG]

    You can also run Moonshell 2 as the primary firmware (Which is what I am doing) with Ysmenu to run roms and still exit back to EOS as well from Moonshell2.

    Good FAQ but it needs moar organization. Like make a table of contents, or put spoilers around big sections.

    Table of contents? Meh. That's good for a wiki, but I don't think it's necessary here...

    I will get the steps down in a few minutes. I am not totally sure what I did to make it work at the moment, but I can send you a quick walkthrough as well as the files needed
    But I do have a walkthough on how to install DSision3: DScovered on it here

    Okay, no problem, as long as someone makes it it's okay for me! [IMG] It doesn't have to be ASAP, just make it [IMG]

    Your welcome [IMG] It should work since it's the files straight my card, but better off testing before posting. I learned that from my millions of Quad-Boot updates where something wasn't working right before I posted it.

    Having a bit of a problem, when I extract the file provided in the Multiple OS support, there appears to be no .nds files there
    EDIT: Sorry for the double post

    I couldn't test it today so I don't know about any problems yet, but if you find any, just try fixing them and if you can't, tell me about them and I'll see what I can do.
